"I think I like you." I look away, ready to be embarrassed.

"Well that's convenient." He says.

"What?"

"I like you too, cadet." I look over to him. His expression softened and the corners of his lips were turned upwards.

"Am I asleep?" I ask. He chuckles.

"No." He runs his hands along the sides and back on my neck and brings my face closer to his.

He leans forwards and our lips meet. A warm feeling bubbles up inside my chest and his warm hand touched the side of my face.

He pulled away from me and I looked down in my lap, slightly embarrassed. His arm slides onto my shoulders and he hold me close to him while we admire the stars.

"Was this some kind of joke or dare?" I ask.

"Children do that. I don't. I really like you, Y/n why can't you believe me?"

"I guess because this feels so unreal. Everything just seems perfect."

"Don't you deserve perfect?" He asks me.

"Not sure." I reply. I think back to my team on the expedition. Do I really deserve this? He pulls me closer and starts to play with my hair.

"You do." He stay with each other for about an hour, admiring the scenery around us and enjoying each others company.

"It's getting late. We should get back inside." He says to me. I nod and he extends his arm for me to grab. I place my hand in his and we walk back inside the HQ.

He leads me back inside his office. "You can go back to your room or sleep on the couch, it's your choice. I have paper work to finish."

I drop down on the couch. It was soft and comfortable. There were a few pillows and a blanket. I came to the conclusion that his couch was more comfortable than my bed, so I decided to stay with him.

He sat down at his desk and picked up his pen to start writing. Levi noticed I had decided to stay with him so he turned the lights off. To see the work laid in front of him, he lit a candle and started to write. The candle had a yellow glow and made the room seem warmer.

I laid down on the couch and pulled the blanket over my body. One pillow is underneath my head and another is in between my arms. I listen to the sound of Levi's pen scratching on the paper he is writing on.
