Twenty || Trust

The female titan extends her arm forward, cutting down a tree. She tries to grab Eren, but she misses. There's no way for us to understand how she fights and it's impossible to get away from her.

"I'll catch it!" Eld screams.

"Captain, please let us use our 3DM gear!" Petra pleads. The captain completely ignores us. Two soldiers from behind us try to attack the female titan. The first soldier misses and she slams him against a tree. The second is caught in here hand and she crushes him.

"Captain, your orders!" Petra calls.

"We should go for it!" Oluo yells. "This is dangerous..."

"I'll destroy this thing." Eld says, gripping onto his sword.

"Captain!" Petra calls once again.

"Give us your orders." Oluo yells. "It's going to catch up to us!"

"Captain, your orders?" Eren yells. The captain responds to nobody and continues to ride forward. He turns around to us.

"Cover your ears."We do as he says. He sends a flare into the air. We continue forward, the titan behind us only running faster.

"The target is accelerating!" A soldier yells.

"Keep moving and we'll outrun it!" The corporal says. I look over at watch as Eren looks at the soldiers around him in panic.

Eren lifts his hand towards his face. "Eren!" I scream. "Don't do this!"

"Eren, you promised us you would only do that if your life was in danger." Petra says. It does look like his life is in danger. I think to myself.

Eren still keeps his hand in him mouth. "Eren!" Petra calls again.

"You're not wrong." The captain in front of us says. "If you want to do it, then do it. I can tell that he really is a monster." We like at the the captain in shock. One, for giving Eren permission to do this and two for calling him a monster.

"No matter what way we restrain him, even if we put him in a cage, he will not listen to anybody. Eren, the difference between you and us is that we have experience. You do not rely on experience. You can chose what you will do. You can either believe in just yourself or you can believe in me and the rest of the survey corps." Eren lowers his hand and continues riding forward behind the corporal.

I look behind me and see the female titan still behind us. She had her hand covering her nape. She continued to smash the reinforcements that came after her. Eren looks back down at his hand and puts it back in his mouth.

"Eren." Petra calls beside him. "Trust us!" Eren stares at Petra, for what seems like 3 minutes.

"Eren, you're taking too long to make a decision!" The corporal shouts at him. Eren lowers his hand and hold on to the reins of his horse.

"I'll move forward!" He yells. I smile at his decision.

"Thank you, Eren." I whisper. A loud scream is heard behind me. I look back and watch as a soldier is his against a tree. The female titan throw the body behind her and continues to chase us.

"It's gaining on us!" I announce.

"Keep going."

I keep going forward in my horse for about three more minutes.

"FIRE!"
