"What part will you be sacrificing?"
"My hair and a small pint of my blood. Would that suffice?"
"I suppose. Go ahead and take my blade within your hands."
Via stands, reaching out for the hilt of the blade which she uses to slice her braid. As the braid falls she creates a small cut within her hand while chanting, "Cortormai, fraytrayia somuntay alfata." ("With this sacrifice, you are bound by me.")
Water fills the bottom of the enclosed gazebo as blood drips from her hand. She lets the blood drip two more times before setting the sword down in the blood swirling in the water. The streaming water turns into gold and the sword starts glowing.
The sword shapes it's form into a black tiger with golden stripes. Via stands there with an immense amount of fear while staring into his fierce golden eyes. She takes a moment to calm herself. The tiger bows its head and the golden water turns into a bright white light source, "this bond shall forever bound us together, if broken will be dire consequences."
Via replies, "And if blood shall spill with death upon the beholder, we shall forever part," she holds out a hand, "from this day forward I recognize thee as my servant."
"From this day forward I recognize thee as my master," he looks up. He takes her hand as his form turns human but is only viewed as a glowing white silhouette. The liquid light source forms a whirlpool and swallows him. The whirlpool poofs into a bunch of glowing butterflies leaving the sword in Via's hand. The barrier drops and Via takes a moment for her eyes to adjust before heading back to the others.
"So, that's the sword, huh?" Gemerai asks, "that's what will fix my planet, yeah?"
"Yeah, let's get going. We've got a long journey ahead of us," Via puts the sword in her bag and begins the long trek home as everyone else follows.
Gemerai speed walks to catch up to Via, "okay, so how are we going to do this? Do we just take your ship and fly on over to my planet and go 'oh great powerful sword, fix this planet' or maybe we-"
"Gemerai, please. Let's just focus on getting home first," Via hops down the small cliffside and sticks her bleeding hand in the tree water making the cut completely healed.
"Why don't you heal your other wound too?" Leona points out.
"Because it doesn't work on deep cuts," Via stands up, "Nadada," the tree opens up and they all exit. Nino and Via fly the others over to the tiny island.
"Now what? The door disappeared when we entered. I'm pretty sure it was a one way ticket," Mayvel states.
Via takes the sword out.
"Whoa there," Mayvel holds her arms in defense, "no need to be rash now! It was just a simple question, I swear!"
"Oh, just shut up and grab on," Via points the sword to the sky. Everyone grabs her hand as she says, "takes us home."
The sword teleports them all above the fields behind Via's house. Being further up than they had hoped for, they fall on top of one another. Everyone groans from pain.
"Ow," Leona sits up rubbing her head, "I thought it was going to take another week to get home?"
Via sits up, putting an arm on her knee, "Honestly, I didn't know that was going to work. At least now we can have a vacation from our 'vacation'. You guys can go back to school if you wish, I'm going to rest for a bit and then yes," she stands up, "then we will discuss your planet's situa-" she had started walking, but then passed out.
