Chapter 25

"You want me to fix a-," Saffon starts laughing to the point where he starts coughing.

Via shoots up out of her seat and gets in his face, "What's so funny!? This is a serious matter!"

Saffon takes in a deep breath and stares Via in the eye for a moment. He grabs her chin, "you've trained your body but to what extent, my dear?"

Via takes a step back while pushing his hand off, "what do you mean?"

"You have great power I won't deny, but can you move large planet pieces back together?"

"No, that's why I need you," Via sits back down then crosses a leg over the other.

"That's not how that works. I have great power, but my vessel needs to be able to withstand it along with their own power. Not only can you not withstand my power but you haven't even reached your full potential."

"But, I don't want to just fix the planet, I need to restore all the creatures and plants that reside on that planet as well. Don't you have some sort of time reverse powers or something that wouldn't require my powers assistance?"

"I do. I'm the ultimate being after all, but you would still need to withstand the power that would surge through you. Or are you willing to risk breaking your body?"

Via stands, "I think I can handle a little pressure," she pats his shoulder.

"Really now?" Saffon crosses his arms, "It didn't seem that way yesterday when I used a very simple teleport spell."

"We were walking through wilderness for a week, while trying not to die, before we got you. I think I'll be fine after a good long rest."

"Hey Via, I was wondering... why do you have your general suit on?" Gemerai asks.

"Oh, right!" Via turns to look at Gemerai, "Before Saffon so rudely wandered off, I was going to call my crew. Ladies go get dressed, we've got a planet to save!"

Gemerai's tail wags, "I get to meet your crew!"

"Better hurry, they answer fairly quickly," Via goes to her room and gets the headset on.

Gemerai bolts to Leona's room and finds some clothes.

"Log in Via 3-01 A-01. 1:28 pm earthling time."

"Logging in, please wait... call connected."

Via changes the setting on the headset to speaker phone.

Looking irritated Saffon leans against the sleeping pod and crosses his arms.

The other two come racing in. Gemerai stands next to Saffon while Leona trips in front of Via.

Jasper answers the call, "General Via-"

Via looks to Leona who's faced down on the floor, "Really, Leona!? Exactly why you shouldn't run in the house," she helps Leona up.

"General?" Jasper stares at Via's hologram.

"Lieutenant!" Via smiles, "so glad to see your face!"

"How was the trip? I assume it was successful?"

Leona joins Gemerai and Saffon by the pod.

"It was... long, but thankfully a success- '' Via notices Saffon leaving, "uh, oh, hold on," She looks at Saffon, "where are you going? Like I said earlier this isn't your house!"

Saffon holds a hand up as he walks away, "Kitchen. Haven't eaten in decades. Come get me when you're done," he puts his hand down as he exits the room.
