Chapter 8

At the mall Via and Leona meet up with Gemerai and Gemeri.

"Omg! Via, you're finally better!" Gemeri runs up to Via and Leona.

Gemerai just takes her time walking, "yeah, I was surprised when you called me to come shopping with you two," she finally catches up to them, "don't mind my sister. Parents made me bring her."

"It's alright. The more the merrier. We are shopping for formal dresses after all, so the more opinions the better, I guess," Via says then turns and gestures, "shall we go then? Gotta get to those sales before everyone else."

"Yeah, let's go," Gemerai says and they all go to several stores before they finally reach a store that fits everyone's preferences.

"Fancy dresses and you. This is honestly the last store I thought I'd go to..." Via grumbles.

Leona looks to Via, "Well technically, this is the last store we went to."

"You know what I mean!"

Gemerai points over at the benches and stalls inside the store, "hey guys, look. Bonzy and River are here. Let's go and say hi."

The three walked over as Gemeri had already gone over. Via tries to avoid hugs as much as possible.

"Glad to see you're not dead!" Bonzy signs.

"Yeah, it was quite annoying if I'm being honest," Via signs back as she sits down next to them.

"Hi Via. Been awhile," River signs.

Via nod's, "Sure has, where's Vixent?"

"I left him at home since I thought I was only going to be hanging out with Bonzy today. No need for a translator when we both understand sign language," she does happy eye's since she has no mouth.

"Very true," Via smiles back.

"Alright, let's try on some dresses!" Gemerai says ecstatically.

"Way ahead of you!" Leona replied from one of the stalls. She throws her current outfit on top of the door stall. Gemerai enters the first stall after picking out a dress.

Via turns her attention back to the other two, "Did you two already pick out your outfits?"

"I did, but River was having some trouble deciding."

"How about I help you?" Via stands up. They walk over to a section of the store.

Leona comes out in a short yellow dress with a leather jacket, "how bout this?"

"I think that red, black's, and oranges would suit you better than a flowery yellow would," Bonzy signs.

Leona cocks her head, not understanding a single word that was signed.

So, Bonzy makes a big X with her arms and drags Leona around the store to pick out some better outfits for her.

Gemerai comes out, "alright guys what do- um, where is everyone?"

"Well," Gemeri starts, "Via is helping River over that way and Leona is getting help from Bonzy over in that opposite corner on that side of the store."

"Oh, well, what do you think then?"

"Well, I never would expect you of all people to cover up so much, but it looks nice on you."

"And now you sound like mom, but granted she's usually right about clothes. So, I guess I'd better go with this one," she heads back into the stall to change back to her original clothes. She comes back out, "your turn."
