Chapter 6: The Smuggler and The Wookie

Y/N's P.O.V

Right now all I can hear is sirens going off.

Rey, BD and I are down below trying to fix the leak, whilst Finn and BB-8 were up top handing us what we needed.

Rey: Quick Finn, grab me a Harris wrench. Check in there.

Finn: So how bad is it?

Y/N: Well if we wanna live it's not good.

Finn: Guys, the First Order is looking for us. We need to get out of this system.

Rey: Well, we need to get to the Resistance base. Speaking of which where is it?

Y/N: It's in the Ileenium system.

Rey: The Ileenium system?

I nod.

Y/N: Alright we need the binding tape.

Finn fumbles around for a minute, whilst Rey and I both point to what we need.

Y/N & Rey: No, no!

Rey: Come on, if we don't hurry the ship will flood with poisonous gas.

He finally grabs what we need.

Y/N: That's it. Thank you. Alright BD, you hold it down I'll wrap.

BD-7: (Beeps.)

As Rey and I come back up we hear a loud bang.

Rey: What is that?

Y/N: I don't know.

The three of us run up to the cockpit. I jump in the pilot seat.

Y/N: All of the controls have been overridden.

We then see a ship sucking us in.

Finn: Shit, the First Order's found us.

Rey: What do we do?

Finn looks at us.

Finn: Wait, you said poisonous gas.

Y/N: We fixed that.

Finn: Can you unfix it?

Rey and I look at each other and nod.

We grab gas masks and I help get the others down under the panel.

Y/N: Wait I'll stay up here. Just in case this gas plan doesn't work. I can take them down and buy you guys time.

Rey: Wait are you sure?

I nod.

Rey: Alright, just be careful okay?

Y/N: I will.

After that I get into position.

Rey's P.O.V 

Once Finn and I get under the panel we hear the door open and hear footsteps above us.

As I'm trying to get the filter the room with gas the panel gets lift up and we see a wookie and an old man.

Old man: Where are the other's? Where's the pilot?

Rey: I'm the pilot. Well one of them.

Wookie: (Growls.)

Rey: No. It's true.

Finn: Wait, you can understand that thing?

Old man: And that thing can understand you too. So watch it. Come on outta of there.

Finn and I get out along with BD-7 sitting on my shoulder.

Y/N's P.O.V

After hiding here for a few minutes I hear Finn and Rey's voices along with another.

I then come around the corner and see two faces I never thought I'd see again. I take off my gas mask.

Y/N: Oh my god. Dad.

Dad and Chewie turn around to look at me.

Han: Y/N.

Rey & Finn: Dad?!

Chewbacca: (Growls.)

Dad then walks closer to me and bring me into a hug.

I start tearing up slightly.

As we come out of the hug dad puts his hand on my cheek.

Han: It's good to see you again, son.

Y/N: Yeah, you too.

I go over to Chewie who wraps me up in a bear hug like he did when I was a kid.

Chewbacca: (Growls.)

Y/N: Yeah I know. It's good to see you again, uncle Chewie.

Han: So, where did you guys get my ship anyway?

Rey: We got it from Jakku. Unkar Pluk stole it from the Irving boys, who stole it from Ducain.

Han: Who stole it from me! You can tell Unkar Pluk Han Solo stole back the Millennium Falcon.

Rey: This is the Millennium Falcon! You're Han Solo!

Han: I used to be.

Finn: Han Solo. The Rebellion general?

Rey: No! The smuggler.

Rey then looks at me.

Rey: Now I know why your last name is so familiar. You're the son of Han Solo.

Y/N: Yes, I'm the son of Han Solo.

Finn: Well, it kinda makes sense. I mean the two of you do look alike.

Y/N: Yeah I get that alot.

Rey looks around the Falcon excitedly.

Rey: This is the ship that made the Kessel Run in fourteen parsecs?

Han: Twelve!

Y/N: It was twelve.

I then go up to the cockpit to see dad. When I get there he keeps looking at me.

Han: So how have you been? And how's your mother?

Y/N: I'm good and so is mum. How about you?

Han: Well ya know. Just surviving.

I nod.

Dad then looks at my jacket and sees my lightsaber.

Han: So I'm guessing you haven't told them about your Jedi past, huh?

Y/N: No and, I don't think I can. They already have a target on their backs. I don't want to make it bigger.

Han: Well listen here, son. I'm gonna teach you a little lesson about women and it's something you should know by now. Women always find out the truth. Always.

I nod.

Han: So that girl, she seems special. What's going on there?

Y/N: What? Nothing is going on there. I just met her today.

Han: Right, okay.

Dad looks at the console.

Han: Oh my god.

I then see what he's looking at and understand why he's so pissed. We walk back to the main room

Han: Hey! Some moof-milker put an compressor on the ignition line

Rey: Unkar Pluk did it. I thought it was a mistake too

Y/N, Rey & Han: It puts to much stress on the hyperdrive.

Han: Alright, Chewie let's send these two to nearest inhibited planet. And get Y/N back to his mother.

Rey: What! No, we need your help.

Y/N: She's right dad.

Han: My help?

Y/N: Dad we need to get BB-8 back to the Resistance base. He's carrying a map that leads to Luke.

Dad stops in his tracks.

Finn: You are the Han Solo that fought in the Rebellion. You knew him?

Han: Yeah, I knew him. I knew Luke.
