She was about to slap me again and I was so ready for it. Naipikit ko na ang mga mata ko at handa ko na ulit matanggap ang masakit na sampal ng may sumigaw na babae at pinigilan siya.

"Berry! Stop it!" Sabi nang pamilyar na babaeng dumating.

"No! Sy! This bitch is the one who stole Chrispher from me!" Hagulhol ni Berenice na unti-unting pumipiga sa puso ko.

"Stop it! What did you—" natigilan iyong babae at napasinghap. Naramdaman ko na lang ang paghawak niya sa braso ko. "OmyGod! What did you do to her?! Berry!"

"She fucking deserved that for taking my man away Sy! What are you doing?! You supposed to be with me! Why are you defending that old bitch—"

I am still closing my eyes, holding the tears inside. It's the tears of guiltiness. Siguro nakokosensiya ako... Kasi k-kasalan itong sinuong ko! P-pero hindi ko naman kasi alam! I swallowed hard when I saw the faces of the two sisters who I was about to investigate with Lupin. Bakas sa mukha ni Beansey ang gulat. Nakatakip sa nakanganga niyang bibig ang kaniyang kamay. Habang si Berenice... ay nanlilisik ang mga matang nakatitig sa akin at maluha-luha pa ang mata.

My heart is twitching so bad. I step forward and maintain a serious expression. I shouldn't look so nervous and defeated! Kailangan kong i-save ang sarili ko.

"N-nagkakamali ka ng iniisip... W-walang kami—"

"Aha?!" She scoffed sarcastically. "You old bitch is a liar, too! I saw you always with him! I have told you to stay away from him but you still did!"

"B-berenice... nagkakamali ka ng iniisip. M-maniwala ka..." I almost puke.

"Oh wow?! I just heard that he is courting you?! And you fucking let him do that when in short you know that he's getting married?!" Her eyes is squinting so badly at me, saying that anytime she can grab me and slap me hard again. Well, I'm not afraid. She can slap me many times because I want to wake up from this, shit. I just felt I'm at fault, but I don't clearly know the reason. Damn.

Jusko. Paano ko ba sasabihin sa kaniya na si Chrispher ang pinaniwalaan ko? Na sinabi ni Chrispher na hindi niya ito fiancee? How should I do that? Bakit nagiging ganito ako? Bakit kapag kaso o krimen sobrang bilis kong makaisip ng paraan? Bakit ito... naguguluhan ako?

I anxiously lick my lower lip and took a deep sighed. "I've always asked him about it but he keep on denying it, Berenice"

"And so?" Her brows furrowed. "If there's rumor na naman pala ba't nagpatuloy ka pa?!" She scoffed. "Ang sabihin mo malandi ka!" She then ran towards me and pulled my hair forcefully. Napasigaw ako sa sakit pero hinayaan ko siya. Hinayaan ko siyang kalmutin ang leeg at pisngi ko, ang hilahin ang buhok ko. Nagbabakasakaling matanggal ang sakit sa puso ko.
