."where the fuck is she?!" Taehyung exclaimed as he roamed the whole room while holding his phone and dialing her number at the same time yet she still didn't pick up.

He has been freaking out for the last thirty minutes thinking if where she and Chaeyoung had gone to.

'Are they already at the party? But I told them I'll send them there.' the thought crossed his mind.

"Can you just calm down? I'm getting dizzy looking at you whirling around!" Jimin dramatically massaged his head as he sent daggers at the younger but Taeyhung ignored it.

"I can't reach her nor Chaeyoung so tell me how can I calm down?!" His hands were drifting side to side while holding his phone.

"You're being dramatic, they're obviously at the party already," Jimin stated calmly, feigning ignorance to the younger, "she said they'll be going at 5 but your stupid ass had fun entertaining someone that time so they got bored waiting for you and just head off." He added as if he knew the whole story.

"But she should have told me so that I won't be this worried!"Taehyung reasoned, ignoring one of his statements.

"You know the location of the party right? Can we just go there instead of babbling without doing something?" Jimin was actually getting annoyed when he said this and already stood up without even waiting for his reply.

"But I didn't know where in Bayonne!" Taehyung yelled, running after the elder.

"GPS exists, Taehyung," Jimin replied in a matter-of-fact tone, rolling his eyes in the process. Taehyung has no other choice but to follow his hung because what he said is right.

He dashed through the parking lot and started his black matte '69 Maserati Ghibli. When Jimin came into his view, he ordered him to set the GPS to Bayonne, Kim Doyeon's residence.

Meanwhile...

"Jennie!!" A girl squealed right after they entered which caught their attention. Immediately, she rushed to that specific girl and crashed her into a bone-tight hug.

"It's been years! Oh God, I missed you!" She mumbled before they pulled away, "oh, by the way, this is Chaeyoung." Jennie pulled the younger beside her who's been smiling awkwardly since they arrived.

"H-hi." Chaeyoung stammered.

"Hi! I'm Doyeon and this is my brother, Lucas." Doyeon smiled, glancing at her back to point her brother.

"hi, nice to meet you." Lucas propped his hands to shake with hers and Chaeyoung did it without thinking twice.

"nice to meet u too." she flashed him a warm smile after their hands disconnected.

The four of them headed to where the drinks were served while exchanging stories. They talked about their whereabouts and all that happened to each of them for the past years.

Jennie and Doyeon met in middle school and since then, they have been inseparable from each other but when they graduated high school, they part ways and started preparing for their real lives.

They finished college in different universities and had their own lives after. Jennie flew here, in New York, and then she met Chaeyoung. Doyeon on the other hand manages her parents' company and good thing that there was a business matter she needs to attend here so the two decided to meet.

While the elders were catching things up, Chaeyoung and Lucas were getting along very well too that made them smile. Jennie already forgot what happened in Kim Eternity a while ago the longer she stays there with Doyeon's company and she's glad about that. She doesn't want to think about problems when she's supposed to have fun.

In the middle of their drinking session, Jennie decided to finally check her phone that has been turned off for a few hours because she knows that if Taehyung finds out that they're not there anymore, he'll surely freak out and call her non-stop and she's right.

When she unlocked her phone, there she found 114 missed calls and 237 messages from none other than Kim Taehyung but something caught her attention when she's about to read his messages.

It was an unknown number.

Maybe it's the alcohol in her system that's eating her senses when she decided to check the unknown's message because usually, she wouldn't. She will just ignore and delete the message but it's different right now.

'I want to meet you, please' that was the message then there's an attached location where they will be meeting in case if she agrees.

Goosebumps crept into Jennie's entire being as she finished reading the message. She has a hint of who the sender is but she tried to shake the thought off her mind and closed her phone once again.

She was focusing on the tequila and a slice of lime served by Chaeyoung as she waited for Doyeon to come back. The busy girl still has a lot of guests to talk and entertain to which left her and the younger ones.

To be honest, tequila is overpassing her limit in alcohol. She's not a heavy drinker and she knows that but something inside her tells her that it's alright. Maybe because Chaeyoung is there? Yeah, maybe that's the reason.

A couple of minutes had passed and she feels like she had enough drinks for the night. She stood up and asked for a glass of water before she went to the restroom to tidy up herself.

"Yo, I've been looking for you everywhere." Doyeon's deep yet feminine voice echoed throughout the empty cubicles of the restroom.

"Oh hi," she said and stopped to apply her strawberry lip balm on her swollen lips before throwing it into her purse and face her friend, " I just fixed myself a little." She giggled.

Doyeon shrugged and pulled her outside the washroom, stopping on their table to tell Lucas and Chaeyoung to follow them before dragging her into the center of the dancefloor. The four of them began dancing while singing along the loud music.

Saying that Jennie was enjoying is an understatement. She was having the best time of her life. It may seem like she's exaggerating but she's not. The problems she had a while ago were now forgotten as she swayed her hips along the catchy beat of the song and by the time they went back to their seats, they were exhausted yet they managed to still smile.

They slumped their sweat-covered bodies onto the spacious couch while waiting for the water Doyeon ordered. It arrived a couple of moments later and the four of them drank it in one gulp.

Yep, they are that thirsty.

They recovered from their tiredness later on and got back to drinking except for Jennie. She stuck to her decision that she had enough and just scroll through any social media that caught her attention when the unknown number sent her a message again and it says a simple 'please'.

The alcohol in her system was really taking over her when she huffed a breath and stood up to excuse herself.

"Uh, can I roam around? I promise I'll be back." She started looking at the three of them that were staring at her.

"Okay, do you want me to come? " Chaeyoung suggested but the brunette shook her head.

"No need, I can manage." She smiled, politely declining the younger's offer.

"Okay but if ever you lost yourself, don't hesitate to call me, okay?" Doyeon stated in a half-joke and half-serious tone.

"Don't worry. I will." Jennie winked before walking out from the resthouse and started walking to the location where she and that stranger supposed to meet. It's not that far, just 10 blocks away from Doyeon's resthouse so Jennie settled to walk instead of taking a cab so that she'll have enough time to clean and organize her thoughts.
