"I came to talk to him." Taehyung can't believe her response. She came to talk to him? Is she crazy? The last time he checked, she hates that man and doesn't want to be associated with him in any way and now, she's talking to him?

Ridiculous.

"So you lied to me?" He asked and stood up straight, "you said you're meeting a friend here, is he the 'friend' you're talking about?" The expression on his face was the same as she first met him; blank and cold showing how serious and irritated he is at the moment.

"Of course not!" She said as soon as he stopped talking to defend hersel- wait. Why is she even explaining when he was the one who did something wrong? nevertheless, she continued, "I was at Doyeon's party a while ago but I left to meet-"

"What's your reason?" He cut her off and looked at her straight in the eyes,  warning her to say the truth.

Jennie was again, speechless. What will she say? That she got jealous of him that's why she agreed to meet him? No, never. Her pride will be damaged if ever she did.

"It's none of your business," she rolled her eyes but soon widen when he shouted.

"It is my business!" Good thing that they are at the very end of the parking lot where it's dark and there are no passers-by to hear their argument.

"I traveled here for hours just to check if you arrived safely because you weren't answering my calls only to find out that you're meeting your ex. Tell me, did you two got back together?" He was furious but he didn't shout because like I said earlier, he didn't want to attract attention.

"What are you talking about?! Of course not!"

What the hell is he thinking?!  She thought.

"Then what is your reason?" He repeated his question once again.

"You came here to check if I'm safe right? Now that you know that I'm perfectly fine, you can go now." She changed the subject, feigning ignorance to his question.

She was about to walk out, assuming that the conversation is over because she's so exhausted. She was working throughout the day and take note that she's not completely sober plus this useless argument with him is draining all the energy that's left in her body.

But before she could take her second step, his hands caught her wrist again, "are you just gonna leave me hanging here!?"

"Taehyung, I'm-"

" No. We're not going anywhere unless we fix this issue," he said, his voice was laced with authority as he sternly looked at her.

Jennie crossed her arms as she went back to her previous position, "I came to talk to him, to fix things and have closure because I don't want to carry this grudge for him forever." She sounded nonchalant but the truth is her heart was already beating fast.

"Did you planned this all the way? Why didn't you tell-"

"Do you have to know?" She cut him off without even realizing and it shocked him. Her boldness tonight is very sexy but annoying and the same time. How did a few hours here in Bayonne change her behavior?

"Why didn't you wait for me? I told you I'll send you here." Taehyung raised another question, ignoring her sarcastic remarks.

She chuckled bitterly and moved away from him a little bit, "Why should I disturb you if you're already having the time of your life making out with someone?"

That's when it knocked him hard, she saw them!

Fuck.

"I  didn't make out with her!" He spoke up to defend himself.
