"Why'd you ask?" She managed to speak after his surprising question.

The whole situation is making her confuse.

How did he know? Was he there the whole time? She thought.

"I was there." as if he read her mind, he answered and silence took over.

How? She asked in her mind as different scenarios and thoughts came to play in her mind which is making her nervous.

"so...." He got rid of the thick and awkward tension that surrounds them as he spoke, running his hands to mess his hair.

"Uhm, a-about the question, I did v-visit that p-place." She stammered and looked away when she found his eyes focused on her.

Relax Jennie, relax.

Taehyung loosened up his self by drooping his upper body onto his chair, heaving a nervous sigh as he drifted his mind on the white ceiling that encompassed both of them from the busy atmosphere outside.

How can I say this without scaring her? His mind was a mess, thinking about a way on how will he reveal this to her.

Fuck it. This is all Jimin's fault. He made a mental note to kill Jimin after this.

"Where did you go?" Jimin interrogated as soon as Taehyung arrived. He, on the other hand, frowned seeing his friends appearance.

"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with Jungkook?" He asked, ignoring the elders' question.

"Oh, that jerk? He totally forgot about me when he got herself a girl, " Jimin responded, annoyance was clear in his tone, "You didn't answer me, where we're you?"

Taehyung ignored him and tried to find some reasonable excuses to say to his friend. He sat on the chair on his room and started to smile like a creep.

"Taehyung, I know it's ridiculous but I'm starting to think that you like--no, love someone." Jimin chuckled as the younger glared at him.

"you know that's impossible." he declared.

"nope. it can happen anytime and I also have someone in mind who possibly changed that belief of yours."Jimin snickered.

" and who would that be?" Taehyung challenged, relaxing his self as he grabbed a bottle of water from the small table placed in his room.

"Hmm, there's a lot but....... what about Ms Kim?" Taehyung choked when heard this while Jimin on the other hand has a wide grin plastered on his lovely face.

'I knew it!' He thought and did a victory dance in his mind. He wouldn't receive that kind of response if it's not true. Normally, he would just shrug and ignore this kind of issue but now it's definitely different.

"Ji-" Taehyung was about to speak but Jimin didn't let him, "I know that you're thinking something that will stop me from pestering you, right?"

"Hyung."

"Kid, I hope you know that I won't stop annoying you so if I were you, just tell me the truth so that I'll leave alone and in peace." Jimin grinned and placed his small figure on one of his extra chairs.

"There is nothing to talk about." He spat and stood up, ready to go out of his room to avoid this topic but as he was about to grab the handle, someone from the other side opened it first.

"Yes, Jungkook! Perfect timing!"Jimin exclaimed and signalled the youngest to lock the door. He beamed in satisfaction, knowing that Taehyung has no way out now.

" what's up?" he greeted the two and patted their backs before he eased himself on the soft bed while Taehyung sighed in defeat.

" You see, this Kim Taehyung right here has a long story to tell, right?" Jimin can't help but smirk in success.

"Ooh, really?" Jungkoook's face lit up.

Taehyung then sat back down on his chair and sighed in defeat, ready to tell the whole story to the boys. There is no way out now and he also doesn't have any choice left.

He breathed a large amount of air before he started narrating all that happened to him and Jennie, starting from where they met and what happened that time to where they met again at his building, the meeting with his parents' thing and all.

Taehyung instantly regretted his decision on telling them because after he finished speaking, he swear, he started to feel pain on his body when the two kept on slapping his chest and throw him pillows as loud squeals erupted, just like girls do.

"can you guys keep it low? " he whined and covered his face with a pillow out of embarrassment.

This is absolutely not the kind of reaction he expected.

"Aww, is taehyungie shy?" Jimin cooed as he sat beside him, same as Jungkook.

"shut up."

"So what are you gonna do about it?" Jungkook butted in.

"I don't know. She doesn't even remember me so I think that it's better to just forget about it." the younger uttered.

Jimin widens his eyes at Taehyung's response.

"Well, that's not good especially that you're into her so why not make a move?" He made a pause, "You know Taehyung, falling in love is such a huge gift because 'that' someone might be your 'forever' and if you let go of that someone, you might regret it till the end of your life."

"it happens for a reason. Our brain is set up to support pair bonding." Jungkook added.

" and trust me when I say that falling in love is the best thing ever because when you start falling in love, your brain releases chemicals like vasopressin, adrenaline, dopamine, and oxytocin that light up your neural receptors, " Jimin expressed, making an effort for Taehyung to receive the message he wants to convey, " these will make you feel both pleasure and a euphoric sense of purpose. In short, you'll get addicted because genuine love is an addiction."

And that's how he ended up speechless in front of her, because of Jimin.

He noticed that Jennie is getting anxious, she was biting her lips while fidgeting her fingers at the same time and he finds it sexy and cute.

He cleared his throat earning the brunette's attention. She averted her gaze and turned to face him.

It's now or never.

"I'm V." He mumbled, more like a whisper but Jennie heard it clearly.
