A frown was plastered on Jennie's face as she stared at the tall blonde that was cooking. Since she woke up, the frown never left her face because her short sleep got interrupted by the great Park Chaeyoung.

She was still drowsy caused by the lack of sleep last night. The small talk they had was enough to keep her awake until the dark was gradually replaced by the light.

Jennie was up in midnight when he called. She thinks it was just a random call but she answered anyway because like him, she can't also stop thinking about what happened to them earlier in the morning.

Even if they just exchanged 'hello', 'goodnight' and 'bye', it drove her crazy resulting in staying up overnight. The call was short. Too short for her liking.

When she spoke, he replied with a 'hello' and 'good night', she also responded a 'good night' and then he bid his goodbye and ended the call, not even waiting for her response.

She knows that she's the one who said to stay like this and forget what happened but did she made the right decision? If yes, why is she gushing over a short phone call? Why did she stay up whole night thinking about the little talk they had?

Her thoughts were cut off when she heard the younger calling her.

"What?" She spat, still mad at her for disturbing her nap.

"I said what time did you sleep and why are you so grumpy today?" Charyoung repeated and turned around to continue cooking their omelette.

"I just had like...a 2-hour sleep then you woke me up so early, who wouldn't be grumpy over that?" She replied, sarcasm in her voice as she brought her face up.

"It's our routine to wake up early because we have work and why did you have a short sleep? Is something bothering you?" Chaeyoung shrugged, completely ignoring the annoying look the elder is giving her.

Jennie didn't tell Chaeyoung what happened yesterday in his office but Chaeyoung already knew since Jimin told her the whole thing last night, the confession and rejection thingy, Chaeyoung knows it all.

She understands why she didn't tell her. Maybe because she wasn't ready, embarrassed or just not want to talk about it.

When Jennie didn't reply, she took the chance to change the topic to avoid an awkward tension to surround them.

"Breakfast is ready!" Chaeyoung beamed, bringing the plate of omelettes onto the counter as Jennie's lips slowly curled upwards, "breakfast is the cure to your grumpiness, so, let's dig in!"

The girls ate their food while exchanging stories from different subjects, the frown on Jennie's face disappeared completely.

When they finished, they washed the dishes and took a shower to get ready for work.

Wearing a terno set of blazer and pants, the girls exited their apartment and hailed a cab to Kim Eternity.

Just like any other days, they continued designing their sketch that would be the best for the building. Dozens of colours and layers of sketchbooks we're scattered on their office as they draw and illustrate their imaginations.

Chaeyoung's phone rang indicating that someone called. She excused herself from Jennie before going out to answer the call.

"Hello?" she spoke in a whisper.

"where are you? We're on our way." Jimin answered, also in a whisper.

"What-oh, shit I forgot. Wait, we're going, bye!" and with that, she ended the call before entering their shared office once again.
