Time flies so fast and no one is able to break its wings. Today is the 29th day of December, a day before Taehyung's 26th birthday and Jennie is busy decorating his penthouse for later's surprise birthday party for him with Chaeyoung and Jisoo.

After that incident in Bayonne, their relationship improved a lot and became more serious. If in the past they keep their relationship hidden, now, Taehyung wouldn't make an effort to hide his affection towards her, even in public areas. All employees of Kim Eternity knows what is going on between the two of them too because whenever they are together, Taehyung can barely keep his hands on himself, proving that he and she carries a special bond.

Well, they're still not together though, but Taehyung always has this mentality to never give up until you get what you want and she is the one that he wants so he will wait no matter how long it takes.

Jennie's family was able to finally meet him when they decided to visit her and they got along pretty well. After the introduction and a few chitchats, her dad and brother, Namjoon, played Fortnite on her PlayStation while her mom and her cooked dinner for them all-the-while babbling about how good of a man Taehyung is and how lucky she is lucky to have him.

Also, Jennie decided to move out and have her own apartment because she realized that she and Chaeyoung have got to have their privacy especially now that the younger is starting to invite Jimin more often.

Jennie met his whole family as well. He introduced her to Jisoo and the lady did not hide her excitement to finally meet such a lovely soul like Jennie.

"I still don't know you but I'm super excited to get to know you, you're the perfect sister-in-law for me!" This was Jisoo's first statement as soon as he finally introduced her and Taehyung has to remind her to not make Jennie uncomfortable because she's literally clinging on her like her own sister.

His parents, Yoonwoo and Jaehyuk, were glad to see her again but they were surprised when Taehyung said that she is not his girlfriend yet and that they are still in the 'getting to know each other' stage. He explained how she and him just simply went shopping when they bumped into each other at the mall and that the both of them were still not that comfortable with each other at that time.

"Oh God, we're very sorry that we got the wrong idea," Mrs. Kim said, " I guess we were just so delighted to see our son with a girl, for that reason, we immediately assumed that you're his girlfriend." Mr. Kim added.

When Christmas was slowly approaching, both of their families decided to meet up and have dinner together on Christmas Eve. Saying that Jennie and Taehyung were happy is an understatement. They were feeling something more different and extraordinary emotion observing how their families got along very well.

The wide smiles plastered on their faces are marvelous scenery for both of them.

The males were drinking the wine Namjoon got from Korea while discussing something men only understands, whereas the girls, who were in the living room were chatting more informative, interesting girly topics.

But sadly, their enjoyment was put to an end when Jennie's parents have to fly back to Korea the next morning, therefore, they wouldn't be able to attend his birthday celebration or welcome the New Year with them.

While the girls were busy putting a balloon to each corner, Miley Cyrus' 'Part in the USA' blasted through the large bluetooth speakers that made them stop whatever they are doing and vibe to the catchy tune of the song.

"I hopped off the plane at LAX
With a dream and my cardigan,
Welcome to the land of fame excess (wooh)
Am I gonna fit in?" Jennie started lip-syncing the opening of the song.

"Jumped in the cab, here I am for the first time
Look to my right, and I see the Hollywood sign
This is all so crazy
Everybody seems so famous,"  Jisoo followed while going down the stairs to join the girls,

"My tummy's turnin' and I'm feelin' kinda homesick
Too much pressure and I'm nervous,
That's when the taxi man turned on the radio

And a Jay-Z song was on," Chaeyoung continued, her hands were doing weird gestures as she sang.

"So I put my hands up
They're playin' my song, the butterflies fly away
I'm noddin' my head like, yeah
Movin' my hips like, yeah
Got my hands up, they're playing my song
They know I'm gonna be okay
Yeah, it's a party in the U.S.A. " they threw away the balloons on the air raised their hands with a wide smile on their faces while singing the chorus,

"Yeah, it's a party in the U.S.A. " they sang the last part of the chorus with the biggest grin due to the adrenaline they're feeling. The song certainly reminded them of their teenage years, the times where they still don't have to think about their worries and responsibilities.

"I think we need a break," Jisoo spoke after the adrenaline inside her died down, she was leaning on the wall, her hands were on her hips while the other was supporting her weight against the wall.

"Nope, we need to finish this first." Jennie disagreed and eyed the untouched balloons and ribbons waiting to be hanged. She was so determined and dedicated to doing this errand because for once, she wants to do something special for him like he always does for her.

"C'mon, don't be a bummer," Chaeyoung groaned, "Jisoo is right, we need a break because we have been doing this for the past five hours." She added with an exaggerated tone making Jennie roll her eyes, while Jisoo quietly released a chuckle.

This task is not even that hard.

"Okay, a pizza delivery will do," She declared and turned her back to continue sticking the balloons along the hall. The two girls were starting to rejoice but halted when Jennie added, "if we finish this, so hurry up so that you two can have your pizza."

Jisoo and Chaeyoung looked at each other in despair knowing that they are not going to get the pizza they are wanting, not until they finish decorating.

"You could've just hired someone to do this instead of tiring yourself doing this." Jisoo let out as she took a few ribbons and balloons to hang.

"I know but I wanna do this for him. He's been nothing but the best—and the best only— for me, he deserves this." Jennie answered truly, gazing up to his house who is now full of balloons, ribbons, banners, and confetti with a smile on her face, proud of their work.

"The only thing that can make him exceptionally happy is your 'yes'." The elder implied,

"She's right. I think it's finally time for you to accept him. As you said, he's been nothing but the best and it's very clear that he's serious about you." Chaeyoung joined from the other side of the room.

Jennie just remained silent. She has been thinking about that honestly. Let's just see what her decision is gonna be.
