A knock from the door broke the brunette and the blonde's focus towards their sketchbooks.

The girls heaved a heavy sigh as they leaned their bodies onto the chair, "Come in." Chaeyoung wailed.

The door opened revealing Ms Manoban, the boss' lovely secretary. Her name is Lalisa, she was born in Thailand but was raised in Korea then when she became twenty, she moved here to New York to work.

She's absolutely a ball of sunshine that's why the girls didn't have a hard time to be friends with her. She's smart and also pretty, with her long dark hair tied into a bun, she has bangs too that covers her forehead.

The girls and she already met one time where Jimin invited her for lunch and introduced her to them.

At first, she was shy, she was spacing out and was just eating silently, but as time passes by, she began to talk a little and it didn't take too long until they clicked.

"Oh! Hi Ms Manoban!" the two girls greeted and flashed the Thai a veritable smile. The three agreed that when they're at work, they'll treat each other formally and when they're out, it's okay to be informal.

"Good morning, Ms Kim, Ms Park, " Lisa beamed, "Is Ms Kim free?" she continued.

"Me, uh, yes, yes I am," Jennie answered and fixed herself.

"Good," Lisa then glanced at her watch before returning her gaze back on the girls in front of her, "Mr Kim wants to talk to you, privately. He'll be expecting you inside his office within five minutes."

"Why? Did I do something wrong? Can Chaeyoung come with me?" she asked as she remembered the mental note she made that she won't let herself and him alone.

"No, just you" Lisa chuckled, "You did nothing wrong, he just wants to see you. That's all."

That was the last words of the Thai girl before she exited the office leaving the two girl's mouth hanging wide open.

What just happened?

"Oh my gosh!!" Chaeyoung squealed, her cheeks puffed as she smiled from ear to ear while shaking the brunette's small figure, "He wants to talk to you! Privately! Do you know what that means?!"

' Why does he wants to see me? I'm still embarrassed about what happened the other day and now he wants to see me? Whyyyy? ' Jennie whined in her mind, absolutely nervous and confused but she can't refuse because it's an order from the boss.

So about the day when they went to the mall, something embarrassing happened, for her at least.

They accidentally encountered his parents, Kim Yonwoo and Kim Jaehyuk and of course, they were surprised to see them, particularly Jennie.

His mom thought that she is his girlfriend and the elder's heart leapt in happiness. Why? Because finally her son has someone who can be with him forever and they are also glad that his girlfriend is kind, smart, sweet and pretty, not those disrespectful brats they had encountered.

The two didn't have the chance to clear their relationship because his mom already insisted to have a late lunch date with them so they had no choice but to act like what couples do.

They also made up some stories of how they met and when they dated as the elder Kim's grinned widely, teasing them every now and then.

"You have great taste son. I love her." Mr Kim winked at Taehyung in which he replied with a smile and a smirk.

"I know." He answered casually while the brunette's eyes went wide.

The lunch ended and they bid their goodbyes, Jennie was surprised that she didn't felt left out. Every minute, Taehyung would check up on her just like a real boyfriend would do but after that, they both suffered from the defeaning silence that surrounds them as they drove back to the home.
