"so what are you gonna do?" Jimin asked me for like, a hundred times tonight and it's annoying the shit of me.

I don't know if he's doing it on purpose or he's just really drunk to realize his actions. We are currently in my apartment, yes, the place where it all happened.

I dragged him here with me tonight since he was the one who initiated the whole confession thing that resulted into breaking my heart so I asked for his presence tonight as a payback and to not be haunted by her image.

I never visited this place after that morning because this place reminds me of her. How she giggled when I pushed her against the door or the way she gasped when my mouth would wander on that glorious body of hers.

Yep, I still remember everything that happened that night. Clear and vivid. I was surprised when she didn't recognise me when we met in the morning, is she that drunk to forget about my face? Or my name?

Anyways, we were supposed to go to a bar with Jungkook but that hard-headed kid has other plans in mind that involves my Secretary so we ended up here in my apartment.

Good thing I have lots of alcohol stocked in here so we didn't need to buy one.

The scenarios that night lingered inside my mind every minute since we entered my quarter. I can't even look at my couch without imagining her straddling on top of me nor enter my bedroom without thinking that she's in my hold.

Pictures of her kept on dancing inside my mind and that made me groan. How can I move on when all I could think is her?

I remained quiet and just drink the tequila I have in hand. Jimin knows what my answer would be since I already told him a lot of times tonight.

"Aren't you gonna answer me?" He asked again.

"I won't do anything." I repeated.

"Oh God," He breathed. Okay, I was wrong, he's not drunk. A little intoxicated but still in his right state of mind.

"Man up Kim Taehyung. Don't let a single 'let's forget it' stop you from taking what's yours." He stated.

"She's not mine, Jimin." I retorted and rolled my eyes.

"It's 'hyung' for you, " he glared and air quoted the word 'hyung', " And she'll be yours soon  if  you use that perfect brain of yours and make a move." He argued.

"We're just months old apart so no need for me to call you that, " I teased, "and what do you want me to do? Beg on her knees to give me a chance?" I added.

"No, " he responded immediately, "I want you to make move like taking her out on a date or, " he halted and face me, a smirk creeping up on his digusting face (jk),  " lock yourselves in a room, a dark room with-"

Is he crazy??

"What the hell are--" I was about to protest but he spoke again, cutting me off.

"Don't worry, I'll help you in setting up." He winked.

"No, never, " I glared, " I. Will. Never. Do. Such. Thing."

He didn't reply and just rolled his eyes then drink his tequila. We were back being surrounded by silence once again with only the sound of glass and the surface of the counter top brushing each other.

What the fuck was he thinking?? Trapping the both of us in a room? Literally the ugliest idea I heard from him. Ever.

I felt him shifting off his seat and stood up, grabbing his phone at the process. I didn't bother looking where is he headed to because I know he won't go home in this kind of situation.

I averted my gaze to look at him who's at the balcony talking to someone, grinning widely as he brushed his hair that is blocking his sight from the busy streets of Brooklyn.

New York is a busy place. Even at this hour, there's still a lot of cars and other transportations passing by each other, lights from different building was still on and even people who's on their way to wherever they wish.

As I got nearer, I could hear his  giggles as he was talking on his phone. I wonder who is he talking to, does he have a girlfriend?

I shook my head at the thought, he would never.

"Hey." I called and handed him a shot of alcohol.

I heard him bidding goodbye to his call before he accepted the drink. He put his phone in his pocket and faced me.

"Who was that?" I asked.

"No one." He responded and took a gulp of the beverage I handed.

"You're talking to no one? Wow." I retorted, sarcasm in my voice was apparent.

"It was Chaeyoung." He said which made me widen my eyes. Chaeyoung? As in Park Chaeyoung? Since when did they start calling each other? As far as I know, they don't get well together because the girl hates Jimin and now they're talking to each other? Wow.

"What did you two talk about?"

He didn't reply and just started at the active city beneath us. My apartment being located at the topmost of the building allowed us to see the whole city of Brooklyn.

The cold August breeze that brushed his skin  bought his senses back. It's almost an hour since the two decided to call it a night and went inside his apartment to clean the mess they made.

Jimin was already knocked out and in a deep slumber in one of his guests rooms while he, on the other hand, decided to stay up for a couple of minutes to think.

The sight of Jimin smiling while talking to Chaeyoung earlier made him jealous. He wants to be the same with Jennie but sadly, he can't.

He can't  because it all started in a wrong way. If only he had her in a right manner, maybe he could make a move and make her his' properly.

He wonder what is she doing now. Is she sleeping peacefully or still up thinking about the same issue like him?

He scrolled through his contacts and found her name, Jennie, with a candid photo taken by him when they went out to the mall.

He was contemplating if he should call her or not. It's past midnight and she's probably asleep at this hour but you won't know the result if you won't try, right?

He made up his mind and decided to try. He pressed her contact number and waited. A few rings passed but no one answered, I guess she's already sleeping, he thought. He was about to end the call but a soft voice stopped him.

"H-hello?"   she spoke on the other line.
