I continued walking down the lonely, abandoned road. My feet had begun to ache worse as the blisters on them started to rub even more. Beginning to become lightheaded, I was impelled to sit in the grass. Immediate relief flooded through me as my bum collided against the soft grass beside the road. Finally, my feet felt instantly better. The sun was beaming down on me as I allowed myself to gain a nice glow. I closed my eyes, while the sun shone on my body; it felt so nice. All of a sudden, a poof of green smoke filled the air to the right of me...

Faith.

Forthwith, the green smoke faded away; simultaneously, the one and only Faith Seed appeared right beside of me.

"Faith!" I exclaimed, gazing up at her. "Why are you here?" I questioned incredulously.

"Why, you don't want me here?" Faith giggled as she sat down in the grass beside me.

"You know that's not true, Faithy." I smiled at her.

"I know. I just wanted to see you. You haven't visited in a while, so... I decided to visit you." She grinned at me and suddenly, her smile fell. "What's wrong? You seem... kind of gloomy... and sad."

I sighed in frustration, "Yeah. You're right." I cleared my throat. "Nathan and I got into a really bad argument... again. But it was far, far worse this time."

"Aw." Faith frowned. "Tell me what happened. I mean— o-only if you want to talk about it, of course."

I took a deep breath in and out, "It's cool, it's cool. Okay... Um— to start off, Nathan came home from work earlier and uh— he was super fuckin' grouchy. Then, I'm like 'I don't want to be around you when you're acting like this, so, I'm going to go see Faith.' And that's when shit hit the fan. Nate just started arguing with me about you; I guess he's a little jealous... I don't know why." I shrugged my shoulders, squinting up at Faith because of the sun's rays behind her; the sunshine illuminated Faith's silhouette, causing her to look absolutely breathtaking as her eyes fluttered subconsciously... "Well after that, he began making these biphobic comments and I couldn't take it anymore..." I exhaled, shaking my head, wrath gradually consuming me. "He got me some flowers for Valentine's Day and I chucked the vase at the wall. I couldn't control my goddamn anger, Faith..." I confessed, while tears welled up in my eyes, stinging the fuck out of them.

"Oh, Al. Come here." Faith enveloped me into a gentle, warm hug. "I'm so sorry."

Immediately, her hands wrapped around my neck as she hopped into my lap; meanwhile, I snaked my arms around her waist, while she laid her head on my shoulder. Faith's aroma hit my nose; she smelled like Bliss, flowers, and a hint of vanilla in the mix.

"Alice."

"Huh? What is it?" I asked, gazing into her gorgeous blue eyes.

"You deserve better than him..."

"Yeah, I know." I replied, a frown on my face. "I really don't know how to break up with him, Faithy."

"I don't know either... I'm not pressuring you to do it, but... I just want you to be happy. And I know you're not happy with him."

"You're right, Faith. I'm not happy with him at all." I admitted, pondering about the whole situation. "I will eventually think of something... I hate to say it, but I need to go. I've had a good time talking with you, Faith." I smiled up at her as she still sat on my lap comfortably.

"Awww, shucks. Okay. But you promise to come back and visit? At my house next time?"

"Of course. I promise."
