"You come with me." Nathan growled, digging the gun's barrel into my forehead harder. He grabbed my wrist and spun me around against him, keeping the pistol against my head. "You stole my girl from me, Faith. And I will never, ever forgive you for doing that shit."

"I didn't do anything, Deputy. You pushed her away." Faith responded rather harshly. "And she would come to me crying because of how awful you treated her..." She scoffed. "Al doesn't deserve you; she deserves so much better."

"Your best option at the goddamn moment would be to holster that fuckin' gun, Nate," I threatened the Deputy behind me, holding me in a headlock. "or things are gonna get so much more uglier than your hairy asshole."

"Hell, that's easy. I think I'll go with the latter." Nathan pressed the gun even harder against my head if that was possible.

In an instant, I grabbed the barrel of his pistol and elbowed him in the stomach, resulting in the gun going off. Luckily, the bullet missed both Faith and I, but it did penetrate through her ceiling. My ears were ringing as the Deputy was hunched over and clutching his belly, while I aimed his 1911 at him. "Don't. Damn. Move."

"Freeze! Put the weapon down, Alice! You don't want to do this!" Grace Armstrong yelled from the doorway with her rifle aimed at my head, while a couple of resistance members [I didn't know the names of] were behind her [including Mary May and Pastor Jerome Jeffries]. "I do not wanna have to shoot you, but you know I will. Put. The. Gun. Down. Now."

I scoffed, "Fine, Grace. I'll fuckin' surrender..." I dropped the 1911 and kicked it to the side; it skidded all the way to the opposite end of the room. Then, I raised my hands in the air in surrender as I gradually made my way over to the sniper.

"Don't come any goddamn closer!" Grace shouted gripping her rifle tighter as her index finger subconsciously put more pressure on the trigger, but that didn't stop me in the slightest. "Alice, I'm warning you! Freeze or I'm pulling the trigger!"

A step away, she fired for my torso, but I grabbed her rifle's barrel beforehand and held it above my head, barely missing my skull. I jerked the gun away from her and it hit the floor with a thump. Immediately, I punched her square in the jaw, but she quickly recovered and got me on the ground before I could even blink. Grace held my hands behind my back and tied my wrists together with rope.

"You are so gonna regret this you motherfucker!" I screamed, fighting against the rope.

"Let Al go!" Faith yelled as she tried to make her way to me, but Nathan held his 1911 to her head, rendering her to stop dead in her tracks.

"Let's just take Faith and leave Alice here to suffer!" Mary May chimed in from the front door. "We can't trust her anymore! She betrayed Nathan and the whole goddamn resistance! Alice can rot in this house and die for all I care!"

"What good is that going to do, Mary May?" Pastor Jerome questioned incredulously. "What would God want us to do in this situation?"

"With all due respect, Pastor, I don't think there's anything godly about this shitty situation; pardon my language, but we gotta do somethin' about this!" Mary replied with a scowl. "God wouldn't want us to do this in the first place."

"I like Mary's plan." Nathan piped up. "But we can come get Alice later. How does that sound to you all?"

"Do you think this traitorous bitch'll be able to escape?" Mary May asked, crossing her arms and gazing down at me.

"Nope. I tired her up real good. She ain't getting outta them on her own." Grace stated, glaring at me harshly.

"Fuck you guys." I growled. "Fuck you all!" I shouted, rage bubbling in my veins. "Leave Faith alone, Nathan!"

"Let's go, guys. We'll come back for Alice in a bit. Alice needs to learn this valuable lesson and suffer for a while. We won't be back for a few days though so you can stew on this whole ordeal, Alice." Nathan kneeled down and raised my chin up, gripping it tightly, causing me to look up at him. "You're so gonna regret leaving me for that manipulative bitch." He released my chin roughly and stood back up, his 1911 still aimed at Faith and pushed her towards the door.

"No! No! I'll find you Faith! I promise, I'm gonna find you!" I shouted as tears filled my eyes. "I'll come for you when I get outta this shithole!"

Faith nodded with tears in her eyes too. "I know you will, Al."

"I'm gonna goddamn kill you, Nathan! I swear to fucking God!" I screamed as loud as I could, my voice growing hoarse, tears cascading down my cheeks like a river.

After everyone piled out of the house [Grace took Faith hostage with them and pointed her rifle at her back], Nathan winked at me before closing the front door.

"I'M GONNA COME AFTER YOU, NATHAN! YOU'RE SUCH A GODDAMN BASTARD! YOU BETTER NOT HURT HER! I'LL FUCKING KILL YOU! I'M SO GONNA MOTHERFUCKING KILL YOU!"

About Eight Hours Later—

I tried anything and everything to get out of these ropes, but to no avail, I was still stuck, tied up on the hard floor. I've lost count of how many hours that have passed by. I was just getting ready to give up when the door busted open, revealing Jacob fucking Seed...
