Alyssha's POV

I wake up to the sound of my alarm and I find myself in my room. Last I remember sleeping in Damian's arms. He must have carried me here.

Yesterday's incident replayed in my mind. I know I told him we will be only friends but the things he makes me feel is something more than a friend which I can't afford to have. I always had a crush on Adrian, or may be more than crush but at the end he left me. He left me to never come back. And that's why I am afraid to go close to someone.

I know I said I will give him a chance but how can I. I am just way too damaged, way too tinted for someone like Damian. There are lots of things that happened in the past that I wished to forget but I can't. Scars on the body can be erased but I can never erase them from mind and heart.

I don't know what's there in future for me but right now I will just go with the flow. After all, I also have a right to be happy for once, right.

I slide out of my bed and head to the washroom. I have to go to the gym today since I haven't burned any calories this whole week.

I walk to the elevator and hear Oliver's door open.

"Good morning princess." He greets me and gives me a kiss on my forehead.

"Good morning Oli. How are you? Haven't seen you since Monday."

"I have been going to the gym everyday but didn't see you there."

Ups... I forgot that I have been avoiding him to avoid Damian.

"Yes. I was a little busy."

The elevator door opens and there stands as hot as ever Damian. He is wearing a navy blue loose tank top and red basketball shorts and white running shoes.

"Good morning Oliver, good morning sweetheart." And his smile.

"Good morning." I greet him back with a small smile and he frowns.

"What?" I ask him, matching his facial expression.

"It won't cost you anything to smile a little more, you know? And you look even more beautiful when you smile." He says with a wink and I roll my eyes.

"Hey, stop flirting with my sister." Oliver warns him.

"Well I don't remember setting any bro codes." Damian replies smartly.

"Yaah. Still she is off the limit." Do they know that I am standing here?

"We are friends now and you never know what's stored for the future." Damian shrugs.

"And when did you guys become friends?" Oliver asks, again ignoring me.

"Yesterday? I had a meeting with her. Remember?" They really forgot I am standing there. Now that's enough
