Alyssha's POV

Ahh!! Thank god that summer is back. It's not like I hate winters but summers are fun. You can do all the outdoor activities like jog in the morning, go on beach trips and most importantly, I can drive one of Rian's so many sports cars. I love driving and Rian and I go on a long drive almost everyday. He has freaking twenty cars, each costs a couple million dollars at least. He also has three bikes and Rian is teaching me to drive them.

It has been a whole year or it's going to be a year since I met Rian. A year since my life changed completely, for better of course. Despite some downs, each and every second with him has been more memorable than the previous one. Our bond has only strengthened with time and now I can't live even a second without him.

My relationship with Oliver and Dean has also grown. Not even for once they mentioned me as their half sister. Dean always treats, pampers and supports me like a father will do to his daughter and I truly respect him and see him as a father figure. Hannah, on the other hand, is a loving, caring and sensible one, like how a mother is usually.

That reminds me of my current position with Mr. Smith and Mrs. Clark. Yes, they both came to me individually and apologised for everything they did and especially, what they didn't do as parents. I, of course forgave them and now my any type of emotion for them has vanished. I no longer want any kind of attention or emotion from them. I don't hate them or love them because they are nothing but strangers to me. It's like their presence does not affect me in any way at all. And now with Dean and Hannah's parental love and support, I don't need them anymore.

Ohh and did I tell you that they are going to be parents themselves in a month. Yes, they announced their pregnancy during the Christmas dinner but decided to keep the baby's gender secret until the birth. There is no doubt that they will be awesome parents and I will be the best aunt for my little niece or nephew.

And Oliver, well is Oliver. As annoying as ever. Actually he has become more annoying but equally loving and a lot more protective. He and Rian always fight to spend time with me and even though I pretend not to like it, I secretly love it. For years, I never had anyone to love me but now I have someone who is ready to fight for me and more importantly, I have people who are ready to fight over me.

Amanda and Elizah have become my best friends. Amanda is that one friend everyone needs in their life, the one who will keep nagging you all the time but she will kill anyone who dares to even touch you in a bad way. Ohh.. and she got engaged with Jackson last month but they have to wait to get married as Amanda wants her wedding in Cape Town, Africa. Her hometown.

And Elizah? Well, what do I say about him? For some reason, he loves to annoy Rian a lot. I don't know how but he always shows up at our house at the worst time possible, if you know what I mean. He never misses a chance to irritate Rian and the best way to do that is to flirt with me. I know he sees me as nothing but a sister but who will tell that to my possessive boyfriend.

My work and social life has changed a lot too. Instead of working from dusk to dawn, now my workday is from 8AM to 5PM. I work only half day on fridays as I spend friday evening with my brothers and sometimes our grandparents also join us too.

We are due to visit Uncle Nick and Aunt Sophia, every saturday. We mostly visit them as I love Aunt Martha's cooking. I also love their backyard garden and the fact that they have a private beach area is a cherry on top. Sundays are mostly spent at one of the schools nearby and Uncle, Aunt and Aunt Martha try to join us.
