I am sorry for the late update but it's kind of hard to spare time for writing along with a busy work schedule. However, I am trying my best to be on schedule.

Damian's POV
It has been a week since we came back home. Mom, dad, Martha and Hannah were already at my home and to say that everyone was happy to see Alyssha home safe and sound is an understatement. They were ecstatic to see her but of course she got quite an earful for being careless and getting injured, especially from dad but no one mentioned about the other issue and Alyssha seemed to be thankful for that.
We got a doctor to check up Alyssha as soon as we reached home. She had lots of scratches all over her arms and legs. She also got one rib fractured and one broken while her wrist was fractured and needed a cast. Doctor suggested that she should take three weeks of total bed rest.
It was hard to convince her stubborn self but after a lot of persuasion, she agreed to stay home for two weeks only. Mom, dad and Martha decided to stay with us till Alyssha is fit and fine.
But she started whining after four days and we all gave up against her stubbornness after a week. I know she was bored staying home doing nothing so I let her go but I made her promise me that she will come to my office for lunch and stay with me for the rest of the day. So now I am on my way to her office to pick her up
I enter her office building and walk straight towards her private elevator as I know the passcode. Everyone in this building now knows me so I don't get those seductive stairs here. Well, not because of me but because of their scary boss.
I stride out of the elevators as it reaches the top floor and walk towards her cabin after nodding at her PA Nicole.
I open the door and there she is fully engrossed in her macbook with her eyebrows knitted together and a deep frown on her face. I just stand at the door admiring her as she looks so adorable while trying to focus on her work. After a good few minutes, I clear my throat which gains her attention.
"Hey, you are here." She gives me her cute smile.
"Yeah. Looks like someone is very busy today because I have been here for almost ten minutes and you didn't even notice me." I say with a chuckle and give her a light kiss.
"Of course I am and that's because of you. I have work worth of a week piled up plus the inauguration of my new hotel is coming closer. So I am busy preparing a management team for it. I also need to set up a PR team for promotions and advertisements as well." She rants with a frown.
"And I hope you are not using it as an excuse, right?" I say, raising my eyebrows. She doesn't answer but just gives me a sad pout.
"You promised." I stay, sternly.
"But I really have lots of work to finish." She whines.
"Ok. how about you get your work with you and we both can work in my office." She gives me a skeptical look.
"Please? I promise I will let you work. I just need you with me right now." I give her a longing look, which I know will definitely work and it does. She sighs heavily and nods with a smile.
"Fine. But give me half an hour for a quick meeting please?" who can say no if she asks so sweetly.
"Of course, love." I give peaks on her lips, nose and forehead and make myself comfortable on the couch.
