Damian's POV

"Girl, can you please be a little gentle with me. You are literally gonna rip the scalp off by the way you are using your force." I chuckle as I hear my beautiful girlfriend's yet another scream from the room.

You see, it's Saturday today and we are getting ready for my parent's house warming party.

Alyssha along with Amanda are getting ready in my room while Jackson and I got ready in another room and now waiting for them to finish. Alyssha wanted to get ready by herself but we all know how It will end up so Amanda, Oliver and I emotionally blackmailed her to get ready by professionals only. Amanda has appointed top rated beauticians and she is also here getting ready with Alyssha so she can make sure Alyssha doesn't scare the ladies away.

They have locked themselves in the room since last hour and half and I can hear Alyssha getting more and more impatient with each passing minute because for her, getting dolled up is nothing but torture.

"I really don't know how you handle her man! She has a very little to no patience." Jackson says and we both laugh. I know she is extra cranky today because she is really nervous.

"She is not like this every day. She is just nervous and those poor ladies are paying for it."

And I know the reasons why she is so nervous. First of all,this is her first official social gathering and on top of that this is a really big party thrown by the richest man so many famous people, top business tycoons and celebrities are attending this party and many of them might know her personally. Dad has also invited all the employees of the King Industries and most of them know her as well.

Secondly, I told her that I would introduce her as my girlfriend at the party and even though she wanted to, she didn't say no because she thought it would hurt me. She is still upset with herself because as per her, she had ruined the date by not reciprocating my feelings and she wouldn't budge even though I told her that I am totally ok to wait. She even told me that I am wasting my time for being with her and I deserve someone better than her. I mean yes, my original plan was to make love with her that night but the moment she cried remembering her past, I knew that she was not mentally ready for a step further so I decided to take it slow by making her used to her own body and intimacy. I was a little disappointed at the end but I know where she comes from so I definitely don't blame her for being so timid. It took a very long earful lecture to make her understand that she is the one and only for me and I will never let her go because I can be happy only with her. For now she understood but I just hope nothing comes between us, not even her insecurities.

The third reason why she is nervous is that dad had told us that he has a really big announcement to make tonight and he seems really excited about it. Alyssha afraids that he might announce about our relationship but I doubt that this is the case. I mean he knows that she is not ready for all these and I know he would never do anything against her will.

After a few more moments the door opens and the beauticians walk out. We greet them and they leave the house. Now my eyes are stuck at the same door from where my baby girl will walk out.

This moment reminds me of the time when I will wait with the same eagerness and a lot more nervousness for her to walk down the aisles in a beautiful wedding gown. That would be the happiest day of my life. Fuck I can't wait for that day to come because if it's up to me, I would have married her already.
