Dean's POV

I am driving to my penthouse after having dinner with my parents. Oliver is going to stay with them for tonight and will leave for his business trip tomorrow.

Since the weekend, my mind has been occupied by the thoughts of her. I don't know if she is her or not but something tells me that she is.

I reach my penthouse which is empty right now. Hannah lives with me but she has been in Paris for her fashion shoot but she will be here in an hour.

Hannah is one of the top models and we have been dating for eight years and she knows everything about me, my family and her.

I turn on the TV and put on some news but I cannot concentrate on it right now. My mind is clouded with the memory of the incident that happened all those eleven years ago. The incident that changed my life completely.

FLASHBACK

I just came back from my school and I am very excited as I have got all As in my midterms. All I want to do is show my marksheet to my parents and make them proud.

My mom Diana, is not my birth mother but I love and respect her just as my real mother. My birth mother Jade died while giving birth to Oliver when I was only three years old. Dad married mom Diana four years later and she has loved us as her own since then.

"Where are mom and dad?" I ask Austin, the head chef, who is working in the kitchen.

"Your mom has gone out with her friends and your dad is in his office" and I start running towards my dad's office.

"But he is busy with a visitor right now." He shouts but I am just so excited to listen to anything right now.

I reach my dad's office and I am about to open the door when I hear an unknown female voice. That must be the visitor Austin was talking about. Maybe I shouldn't disturb them and should wait here for them to finish their meeting.

"How is she doing James? Where is she?" I hear a visitor saying in a very quiet voice.

"She is fine Emilia. She is in L.A." Dad replies and sounds so emotionless. This is the first time I am hearing his cold voice. He is always so happy and warm around everyone.

"Why didn't you keep her with you James? Why did you send her there? Maybe I didn't but you had enough money to take care of her." A visitor says, raising her voice a little bit. Who are they talking about?

"Really? How dare you ask me that? I fucking told you to get rid of her when it was only two months but you didn't listen to me. And now you are asking me such a stupid question. I have fucking reputation to keep. I can't just go around and keep anyone in my house." Dad screams. He sounds really mad.

"I tried. I really tried but I couldn't. At first my heart and then my health didn't allow me to do so. It was not easy for me either to be a unmarried mother at such a young age." The lady, Emilia says. Even though I shouldn't eavesdrop, I can't seem to move my legs away. I am very curious about what they are talking about.

"It was a mistake Emilia. You knew that it was just a one night stand without any feelings involved and I also told you to take pills, didn't I?" Dad sounds so annoyed.
