Alyssha's POV

We are having lunch at the restaurant and talking around.

I am thinking about Maya. I don't know if I should feel sad that she lost her friend or should be happy that Damian took my side.

I mean, I know what it means to lose your friend but again, one of us has to let him go and I don't want to do that after getting him back after ten years.

I look at Damian and he hasn't let go of my hand even for once. Like I will disappear if he will let me go even for a second. But I am definitely not complaining.

"So Damian, tell me something about Alyssha that I can use to blackmail her." Oliver asks while smirking at me.

I glare at Damian telling him that he will be dead if he utters even a word.

"That's a story for some other day." Damian says and gives me an assured smile. I sigh in relief as I am not in a mood to become a laughing stock today.

"Are you that scary? First Oliver and now Damian." Dustin asks looking at me.

Huh?? I didn't scare anyone. Did I?

"I don't scare anyone." I say little offended and a pout on my face.

"No. You don't baby girl." Damian says while kissing the side of my forehead and I blush hard.

"I am not scared of her. I just respect her choice." Damian says to Dustin and everyone awes at his comment. I look down out of embarrassment because I am just not used to this attention and all.

Luckily everyone drops the topic and just starts talking about everything and nothing.

From the corner of my eyes, I see Dean is staring at me very weirdly, like he is trying to understand me. I have noticed that he has been doing it since Friday but he never talked to me. He is not looking at me in a creepy way but still it's making me very uncomfortable.

We are outside the restaurant and everyone is busy giving hugs and kisses to each other. I am standing awkwardly next to Damian. I mean it's my first time socializing like this and I have no idea how to act in such a situation. Well I know how to reply when I am talked to but I don't know how to start the conversation. I soon got saved by Amanda.

"It's so nice to meet you and get to know you Alyssha. Don't forget I also live in New York and you have my number. Ok?" She says with a broad smile.

"Of course Amanda. It's my pleasure to meet you too. Thank you for being my friend. It means a lot." And it does mean a lot. I have never had any girl friends. She is the first one and it's kind of easy to talk to her especially for a person like me who doesn't socialize much. She just hugs me in response.

"Make everything official with Damian fast otherwise I will tell the world and as you know it won't be pretty." She whispers in my ears and breaks the hug and smirks at me. My eyes go wide in horror but I can't hold the blush either.

I look at Damian who is standing next to me and he raises his eyebrows at my blushing state. He soon realizes what's happening and glares at Amanda but that only makes her laugh at us.

"God.. you guys are just so made for each other. You can read each other's mind so easily." She says laughing and my cheeks get heated due to blush and embarrassment. I even see faint blush and a small smile on Damian's face.

Luckily Jackson comes to our rescue. He hugs her and kisses her to shut her up and drags her away.

Next, Oliver comes to me and gives me an emotional hug. I know why because he is going to his parents house today and he is going on a business trip tomorrow and he is not coming back till Friday morning.
