Alyssha's POV
I am sitting nervously in the car and I can't stop fidgeting my fingers. Even though this is my decision, I am hell nervous.
"No need to be so nervous baby. You will do just fine and I will be with you all the time. You just be by my side. Ok?" Damian says while taking my hand into his.
It's finally a day when Damian will become a CEO of the King Industries. We are currently on our way to the venue where the party is organized.
After lots and lots of brainstorming I finally decided that it's finally a time that I make my relationship with Damian King official.
I am mainly doing this for uncle and aunt because they said they were very disappointed when Damian didn't announce me as his girlfriend. They said they really want everyone to know that their son is already taken. Even Damian said he has been wanting to do this since long but kept quiet for me. Seriously ,these two are uniquely different parents and the King family knows exactly when and how to push my buttons and emotionally blackmail me.
So I gave up against them but now we are announcing our relationship only and see how much I have to handle. I will declare my professional status if I will be able to handle the chaos successfully because I am not in any rush.
I discussed everything with Damian and saying that he was thrilled would be an understatement. As usual he has been very supportive and he is there with me in my every decision. I thank god everyday for bringing him into my life. I can never ask for someone better to trust for my love.
"I am a little nervous. But I will be fine." I assure him with a smile and he gives me a brief kiss.
"Don't forget that you are the Alyssha who is strong and confident. There will be all types of questions and some might make you uncomfortable but just remember that we are not going to answer any. All I am going to do is announce you as my love. Ok?" He gives his little speech for the 10th time since the morning.
But I am not annoyed. His words bring some strength and confidence in me. I know I have to do this at some point so let's just do this sooner than later.
I take a last look at my appearance through my phone as we have almost arrived at the party.
I am wearing blue gown with flower designs. My hair is done in a side swept style and makeup is simple with smoky eyes and pink lipstick. I have completed my look with diamond earrings and white heels.
