Dean's POV
The engagement party is over and most of the guests are gone except the friends group and our parents. We all have decided to have a bonfire in the backyard as summer is coming to end soon.
Today has been the most memorable day of my life and it's because my sister, Alyssha is here for the first time when I am celebrating one of the most important events of my life. I have always missed her all these years and I am happy that she has accepted me as her brother.
But then I realize that I haven't seen Alyssha since quite a long time. Maybe Damian or Oliver knows where she is.
"Hey, where is Alyssha?" I ask in general while taking a seat between Hannah and Damian.
"Ohh yes!! She texted me that she is with your parents. She said they have something important to talk to her about." Damian says shrugging her shoulders.
She is with my dad? What does he want to talk to her about? And what is so important that they can't talk here?
Ohh fuck no!! I hope it's not what I am thinking about. They can't possibly know that she is the one, do they?
"Did she tell you what it is?" Please god, let it be anything else but that.
"No but it should be something business related because she said Mr. and Mrs. Clark are there too but it has been long enough. She should be here any moment." He says and gives me an assuring smile.
"Don't you know what it is, Dean? You should know if it's business related." Oliver asks, eying me suspiciously.
"No. I have no idea." I reply quietly but I might know what they could be talking about.
I look at Hannah, who is already looking at me with concerns and I know that she is also thinking the same but gives me an assuring nod anyways.
I try to engage myself in the conversation with others but my mind keeps drifting off to a thought of Alyssha being with them alone. For some reason I am not having a good feeling about this and something is urging me to go and check on her.
As if sensing my uneasiness, Hannah squeezes my hand and gestures to me to go and check on them so for the piece of my mind, I excuse myself and head towards dad's office.
"You? You will give us compensation? And how exactly will you do that? Are you going to emotionally black mail those two sons of mine? Or wait, now you have the richest man in the world as your puppy right? I really must say that you have a great talent to charm everyone, especially the rich ones." I halt right outside the office as I hear dad's voice followed by his sarcastic laugh.
"You have no right to say anything about my personal life." Alyssha says sternly.
"I also have no interest in your life. All I want is for my sons to stay away from you. Just keep my family out of whatever you are planning against me. All you have to do is break each and every tie with them and I will give you enough money to last for the rest...."
"Dad that's enough." I say loudly and barge into the office to stop him from doing any further damage but little do I know that I am already late. Too late.
I look at my dad first who looks really angry while the other three have blank looks. Dad is about to say something but another voice stops him.
"What the hell is going on here?" Oliver says from behind me. What is he doing here? And how come I didn't sense him following me?
