Every one hundred of years, a child between a human and a unseen being would be born in this world. A child that would bring misfortune to the people around him.
This child would be born with a crimson eye, their skin would be as white as snow, and their hair would be as black as coal; proof that they were the children of the unseen.
But what stood out more among the children of the unseen was the butterflies fluttering around them, butterflies that appeared out of thin air the moment the child would be born. The color of the butterflies would give a different meaning to the child's life.
However, the life of a child between a human and a unseen being would not live for much time, because there was a grotesque creature that would take them away and steal their life.
The grotesque creature was know as Ryomen Sukuna, a curse who had lost his true form thousands of years ago by the hands of the Black Butterfly. Wanting to regain his true form, he started to kidnap children in search for the children of the unseen, leading to the great banishment.
For years children keep disappearing by the hands of Sukuna, making him regain his true form little by little. However, the life of the humans' children wasn't enough. To be able to regain his true form, he needed to consume the life of the children of the Black Butterfly, but no matter how many children he took away he couldn't find the rest of the Black Butterfly's children among those humans.
In all the thousands of years he had been kidnapping children, he only managed to consume the life of two children of the Black Butterfly. Also, he know by now that another of the Black Butterfly children was born, but for some unknown reason he couldn't find that child.
So he only thought one thing: the butterflies were protecting that child from his reach!
Unable to give up, he kept searching for the kid for years. Until one fateful day everything changed.

This story is based from my other story called Butterfly's Curse. Since Suguru is replacing Yugen, he's going to have red eyes and white skin as snow.
