Sukuna was instantly annoyed by the red butterflies' commands and tired of obeying them after he had failed multiple times to catch the Golden butterfly. Still, he looked at Megumi, who was just a few steps away from him, getting further away as the time passed.

Compared to before, this time the brat wasn't alone. His grandmother and a other kid that Sukuna guessed it was another child casted away from the village was here, so he thought of taking one of them as a hostage to lure Megumi towards him.

However, he would have never imagined that one of them had the power to halt his movements for a few seconds. Before he could even do something, he was caught off guard the moment he heard the words "don't move" coming from the platinum blonde-haired brat, making him unable to move from his spot together with the red butterflies.

Toge couldn't immobilize someone like Sukuna for much time than only a few seconds or even a second time, but it was enough to give Megumi and Tsumiki more time to escape.

Once again because of his bad luck, Sukuna saw how the kid managed to escape for the fourth time. He was now tired of everyone that was getting in his way of consuming the last life he needed to devour to regain his true form; tired of Suguru, Satoru and even this kid from protecting Megumi's life that was destined to fall into his hands sooner or later.

"Why do you always have such bad luck, Sukuna? How many times more you're going to fail until you manage to consume that kid's life?" The red butterflies inquired after they couldn't move.

Sukuna didn't responded to them, giving his full attention to the brat in front of him.

"You're useless fool!" The red butterflies lost their temper after being ignored, unable to believe that Sukuna had so many chances to capture Megumi. And that in every single one of them, he had failed.

Sukuna gave the red butterflies a threatening look after he heard the word 'fool', warning them about the consequences their words could bring to themselves. Even when the red butterflies were right about his bad luck, still it annoyed him and bothered him the way the red butterflies spoke and commanded him every single time.

If this continues, Sukuna would lose all his patience, to the point of not caring anymore what consequences could bring if he kills the red butterflies. However, he still couldn't do such a thing no matter how much he desired it. But for the moment, it was more important to him to consume Megumi's life than try to deal with the red butterflies. Although sometimes he wished that the red butterflies never had spoken in the first place, that way everything could have been more easy for him.

The red butterflies soon felt the warnings and threats in Sukuna's eyes to not speak further, knowing they had made a mistake by insulting him. Not wanting to suffer his wrath, they would forgive him this time too.

"Well, I suppose there's nothing we can't do about it," the red butterflies said in hopes Sukuna would not hurt them. "The kid can't escape from us anyway, but we can't fail again, Sukuna. If you don't consume his soul soon, you'll be back to be that grotesque creature," they reminded him. "However, we are lucky this time."

Sukuna knew what the red butterflies meant: to lure Megumi towards them without fail, they need to capture the brat of the cursed speech. He looked at Toge as soon as he regained his mobility, getting a bit closer.

With the help of the red butterflies, Toge heard Sukuna's voice: "You caught me off of guard moments ago, brat, but is not going to happen again. That kid you're protecting has to be someone special to you, since you are going to the lengths of trying to stop me without valuing your own life. But your lucky, I have stopped consuming the souls of humans' children a while ago. However, that doesn't mean I will not kill you. If you try something foolish, then I will not hesitate to end your life."
