Chapter 16: Lying With Her Memory, One Last Time

"Tamaki!" Hikaru shouted but tamaki didn't move... the police came in drawing their weapons and rushing to the bodies.... the uniformed police tried to get Tamaki to say something but he wasn't moving or talking. They ordered a medic and started to shine light into tamaki eyes.. hoping he would answer their questions.

"We need him away from the scene.. he's in shock.."

"Boss... please boss.. say something..." hikaru slapped tamaki cheek lightly. He just got through to Kari, he can't handle this again.

"Sir.. please we have to move him.. " the medics lifted tamaki to a stretcher...

Tamaki was awake, he could hear them. He could speak or move but he didn't want to. He stayed captured in memories sprawling through his mind of him and his mother.

[Flashback]

"Mommy! I learned a new piece for you! Because I know you've always wanted to play it....but you're hands can't play like they used to..." Tamaki was only eight and his mother had taught him how to play a two years before, he was a fast learner. However, Anne soon had a horrible pain in her hands that caused her to distant from difficult things, such as playing the piano, there was so many things she still wanted to play...but she couldn't, so Tamaki would learn them to play for his mom when they were alone.

He sat at the piano and played the beautiful piece, his mom smiled softly as she watched him, "my son...you've learned to play so well...I'm so proud Tamaki...thank you..." a tear fell down her cheek from happiness.

[Flashback Over ]

Tamaki was still frozen and stuck in more memories, he didn't want to leave till he had gone passed every last memory, every minute he's spent with her. The only thing he could let out were slow small tears.

[Flashback]

"Ow... mommy!" Tamaki cried as he sat on the floor holding his knee. Anne came to her sons side and gathered her little boy in her arms.

"You fell down?.. my poor baby...shhh..." she rocked him as she sang to him in french. It was a funny song that always made tamaki laugh, she lifted his shirt and kissed his tummy. Making rasberries and tickling her son.

[Flashback Over]

"We have to sedate him... if he comes out of shock he will act out.." the medic told another medic. Tamaki never felt the needle.. nor did he care.

[Flashback]

"Mommy...Kyoya's gone..." Tamaki cried as he ran to his mother and hugged her tight. "My kyoya..."

"Oh sweetie.. I'm sorry you lost a friend.. but they are never lost.. do you know the story about a little girl name faith?" She smiles, "Now she likes to put people together.. like you and Kyoya.. best friends.. but she has all the people to look over too.. so once she sees you two are friends she moves on...there's billions of people in the world... faith is pretty busy... and sometimes her pairings get lost, but always know faith comes back and brings them together again. Always have faith Tamaki.. you will see him again soon..." she kissed her sons head and held him.

[Flashback Over]

Tamaki soon came to his last memory of her standing there in the hands of her death,

" Fils se souvenir de moi pas comme cela, mais comment c'était avant. Je t'aime tellement. Vous êtes mon monde. Souviens-toi de moi toujours"

His vision blurred and whited out as if it was a film ending. He slowly opened his eyes to a quiet morning, in bed he sat up and looked around confused.

"Tamaki?" his mom smiled as she walked into the room.

Tamaki's heart skipped a beat, "mom?!" he cried and jumped out of his bed running towards her and throwing himself at her but just fell right to the floor, as it was empty room. He clenched his teeth and crawled to the corner and sat there crying terribly, he heard loud gun shot and jumped awake in bed at the hospital once again.

Silence was in the room, his only company. In a different room again, he rolled over and sat up slowly, the heart monitor was beeping as he had small oxygen tubes under his nose. He whimpered as he gripped the sheets, he expected to see his mom walk in but remembered the terrible scene. He cried terribly once again as he wanted nothing more than to scream out in anger and in pain.

Kyoya woke up gasping for air, as something was wrong, he felt wrong. His chest was hurting and he noticed he was alone. He then remembered talking to Tamaki, warning him about his mother Kyoya sat up and stood up quickly a bit in pain still but staying strong to do so, his knees were shaking as a nurse came into the room.

The nurse tried forcing him back yo bed but he begged the nurse to use a phone to call Tamaki but the nurse informed him he was in the hosptial in a different room.

Then nurse omce again tried to push him back to bed but Kyoya begged to see him, he had to. The nurse sighed and finally agreeed, she helped Kyoya into a wheelchair as he was pushed into the room.

He stood up on his own and walked to the bed, Tamaki's back was turned away from Kyoya but he could hear he was crying.

"Tamaki?.... "kyoya held onto the bed rails as he reached out to touch him.

Tamaki jumped a bit, and turned around seeing Kyoya, his breathe hitched a bit, "K-Kyoya?" he threw himself in his arms and hugged him a bit tightly. He needed a hug from anyone really, he just wanted to be held, hr cling to Kyoya, as he cried more.

"Daddy... what's wrong?..." he held tamaki as he cried. For a brief moment he was glad Tamaki was alright, but something had happened. He pulled Tamaki away a bit as he climbed in the bed and laid with him, he wrapped himself around Tamaki and held him. Whispering words that he was here, "I'm never letting go Tamaki, I'm here...I'll always be here..." Kyoya kept whispering.

"Stop don't say that!" Tamaki cried out a bit, and sniffles, "i-im sorry it's just...m-my mom...." he sniffles, "I watched her do it...I saw them both die..." he cried more as he remembered, "why would she do that? Why would that happen in front of me!! Why didn't I save her?!!!" He cried out and gripped onto Kyoya, "promise you won't leave me even after you say you'll always be here...p-please..." he tried breathing steady again.

Kyoya hugged Tamaki harder, he kissed his cheeks and made tamaki look at him, "I promise... nothing can keep me from you.... "

'I didn't know what to say to make him feel better...' he paused in his thought as he huhged the blomde more, 'what do you say to someone who just lost their mother in such a violent way?...'

Tamaki sniffles and hugged him tightly, "I love you Kyoya"

''I love you more Tamaki...." Kyoya held him and kissed the top of his head. They both stayed like that until both fell asleep.
