Drew's POV
Part of helping Derek was to untie Chris and Cassie's hands when they woke up and unlocking their doors since Derek had to "work" in the morning. Still don't understand his job.
I walked to Cassie's room to check on her. I peeped open the door and saw she was still sleeping soundlessly, I quietly pulled the door close and checked Chris's room I noticed he had just woken up. I pushed the door wide open and noticed he was glaring at me.
I ignored it and walked straight towards his tied hands. "I'll untie your hands now that you're awake." I said watching as he continued to glare at me holding his hands over his head.
I nervously untied his hands quickly since his glare was beginning to feel uncomfortable. "Thanks." He muttered rubbing his wrists in discomfort.
"It's the least I could do." I said avoiding eye contact.
"You know I don't get you guys." Chris retorted.
"W-what's not to get?" I stuttered.
"You've kept us hostage for two weeks already. Aren't you guys scared we might find a way to escape?" He replied mocking our intelligence.
"Just be glad, we've managed to keep you alive." I countered and he didn't say anything in return.
All I know about this guy is that he wasn't part of his plan and he's willing to hurt him if he has to. And there isn't really anything I can do to stop him.
"Yeah, for now." I heard Chris chuckle to himself.
"Look it's not like you're going to stay here forever." I said, which I don't even know why because I wasn't even sure myself.
"Don't say that." He shook his head standing up.
I looked at him confused, wasn't what I said a good thing? He said he didn't get me, but maybe it was him I didn't get.
"Isn't that something you want to hear?" I asked my eyes narrowed confusingly at him.
"Don't give us false hope." He said walking towards me. "You said it yourself, you weren't the one that kidnapped us. Your brother did." His was voice clear and serious.
"You're right." I stated. "I'm sorry." I apologized turning my back towards the door.
"No!" I heard a faint cry. I looked at Chris to see him wondering where the cry was coming from also.
"Stop!" We heard the cry again. It was louder and desperate.
"Cassie!" Chris yelled running through the bathroom to get to Cassie's room. "Quick open the door." He told me.
"Stop!" Cassie screamed. "Get away from me!" She panicked.
Trying to get the door open, I didn't understand why she was screaming. No one was home but us. Derek was at "work" and clearly Chris and I were together.
"Hurry!" Chris rushed.
"Leave me alone!" She said again.
I had slipped the key into the keyhole and once the door opened Chris ran into the room. "Cassie?" He questioned.
There was no one in the room and she had just woken up which mean she had a bad dream.
"Chris!" She said. " Untie me!" She pleaded. She was in complete panic mode, her hair was messed up from the tossing and turning she must've done. Her forehead was shiny from all the sweat. "Untie me. Please!" She begged again.
