CASSIE'S POV

"Wake up. Wake up. Wake up." I groaned to the childish person who  jumped on the bed next to me.

"Do you have to do that every morning?" I asked Drew whose grin was very juvenile yet lethal.

It's smiles like those who'll get you everytime.

He leaned inwards placing a kiss on my forehead, "if it's the only way to get you up in the morning then yes." He grinned.

"Fine. Fine. I'm up." I surrendered as I sat up in bed. My mornings need to stop happening like this, but as long as Drew was in the picture I guess it wasn't too bad.

"Good," he got off the bed, "now get changed, I started making breakfast and I'll be dropping you off at school before I head to work." He kissed my cheek again before he left the room.

Why does he have to be a  morning person?

A year later I attended a local university to get my degree in Graphic Communications just like my parents would've wanted me to.

I forced myself into the shower and then got ready in a pair of jeans and a plain black v-neck shirt with white converse. I tossed my hair up in a bun before I grabbed my bag and left the room.

"Breakfast is ready."  Drew chimed when he saw me walk into the room.

"Smells good." I commented as I took a seat at the table. The aroma of eggs and bacon hit me with a blend of steaming cup of coffee to wake me up more.

As I grabbed my coffee, I couldn't help but stare at my engagement ring Drew gave me. Sure I was only 19, but I already knew who I wanted to be with for the rest of my life or at least I knew that I was crazy in love.

Out of all the risks I've done in my life, saying yes to marry Drew was probably one of my favorites.

Of course we both decided to put off the wedding until we were both settled in our lives and for me that would be when I finish college with a good job. As for Drew, he has been working at his mom's company which is a fashion one until he hits it big in the music industry.

We ate our breakfast peacefully as we watched some tv. "We better get going, I might be late." I looked at the clock and took the last bite of my bacon.

"Yeah, let's go." Drew placed the dishes into the sink and turned off the tv before he followed me to the front door.

*~*~*~*~*~*

School was just the same as usual, boring. I waited outside of campus for Drew to pick me up so we can head home. The best thing about him working for his mom was that he got to work at home most of his time. He would go to the office while I'm at school and then continue his work at home when I was done with school.

"Cassandra?" I spun around to see Megan. I haven't seen her since the day I got back from Florida when her mom and Cody threw my stuff out.

"Megan," I approached her, "hey." I greeted.

She quickly examined the building behind me, "You go to school here?" She asked. I nodded. "That's great." She commented.

"Yeah, I'm majoring in graphic communications." I informed. "What are you doing here?" I asked as I realized this was far from her neighborhood.

"I heard the bookstore here was pretty cheap so I figured I check it out." She pointed to the bookstore across the street.

I nodded,"Yeah, it's great for college students." I agreed since I get my books from there.
