*2 months later*

Everything was going pretty good, You and Draco weren't dating after you and his dorm room because you and him just kind of wanted to leave it at a friendship... Because you didn't want drama with Harry because Harry was your best friend even before you came to Hogwarts. And you don't want your friends to leave you.

Even though you wanted to be more than just friends with Draco, he made you really happy, but I guess friends will just have to do for now. At least in those two months you got to really know him because before this year you barely even talked. And you got to see how amazing he is.

You found out yesterday that there was going to be a Yule ball and professor McGonagall just announced that to be official today. Do you ball was going to be the day before Christmas Eve so then you could pack or do whatever on Christmas Eve to go spend time with family and friends.

Once School was over You just relax outside and sit down on a rock and read a book. Then you hear someone shout out your name.

"Hey Y/N!"

"Oh hey Cedric!"
He comes closer to you so you don't have to shout.

"Hey so.. uhm I was wondering if you would go to the ball with me?"

You were shocked that he would ask you because you never really talked but as you were about to speak you could see behind Cedric was Draco looking at us from afar. He had a worried and angry face at the same time. Then he just shook his head and walked away.

"Oh I'm so sorry Cedric but someone has already asked me... And I said yes."
Even though no one has asked you. You felt bad for lying but you were hoping that Draco would ask you so you just said no.

"Oh... Okay, it's fine." He said with a discouraged face.

"I'm really sorry." You reply.

"That's okay"He said with a slight smile.

After that you just leave it there and try to find Draco.

It's been a couple minutes since you have been looking, then you see Hermione.

"Hey Hermione, have you seen Draco."You say well speed walking closer to her.

"I think I saw him by a corridor but I'm not sure, why?"

"I know me and Draco are just friends but he seems sad because well Cedric asked me to the Yule Ball. And he saw us. But he didn't hear my final answer, He just left."

"Well what was your final answer"

"I said no because I felt bad and I wanted to go with Draco so hopefully he would ask me, I wanted him to ask me"

"Yeah, well then you should go find him."

"Okay, bye"You said as you left.
then you realized that there was probably an obvious place that he would be, his dorm.

You knew the password because Draco told you one time and you go to his dorm room and open the door to see Draco kissing Pansy.

Your heart's sunk, you felt weak, your face turned red, and you wish you've never seen this.

Then you see Draco pull away from pansy to look who is at the door.

It was dead silent. Then you feel a tear streamed on your face before anymore came down you left shutting door feeling Just terrible.

You hid in your dorm for the rest of the night not feeling any motivation to get out of your dorm. Even though you weren't dating it still hurt seeing him with another girl that she knew you hated.
