On with the chapter
"Skylar boo" Luke knocks coming into my room.
"Yes my child" I answer from my wardrobe. I hear heavy footsteps before I see his blonde hair peep into the room.
"Oh okay, Brad and myself are going to the race now. Your mum is out doing God knows what, and the twins are at friends houses, I think, so you have the house to yourself for the night, so you know the drill. No parties unless I'm invited. You're brother doesn't even need to know. Ill just come" Luke winks. I couldn't help but laugh.
"Tell your brother what?" A deep voice says standing right beside Luke.
"Oh sweet sweet best friend, you know, if Sky has any ladies problems" Luke says putting an arm around Brads shoulder. I start coughing immediately.
"Ew, no, shut up Luke. He want me to throw a party while ye two are gone and not to invite you" I rat him out.
"Whatever you dick" Brad says shoving Luke.
"Okay sis I'm guessing Luke told you he lowdown. So I'll be home around one or two, even later if we decide to celebrate after I win" Brad says flicking the dust off of his shoulders dramatically.
"I know you'll win" I agree with him. Brad comes over and gives me a hug. I feel so safe in his arms. don't know if it is the brotherly security or just pure love.
"Good luck, stay safe, and I love you" I say stepping out of the hug.
"Love you too, come on you freak" Brad says pushing Luke out.
"Bye Sky!" Luke shouts from down the hall. I shake my head laughing at those two idiots. I rummage through my dresses trying to find a suitable dress for this evening, as Alex said dress to the max. I keep searching untill I have found my perfect dress. It suits my figure just right. I decide to go for a pair of winey/ red heels. They go up to my ankles making my leg look longer. I quickly go for a shower and blow dry my hair. I decide to straighten my hair. I then do my make up, adding my red lipstik to make me look fierce. I brush my teeth quickly, trying my hardest to not ruin my make up. I slip on my dress and heels. I look in the mirror and smile. I actually look good. Considering the fact Lexi was'nt here to do my hair or make up, this was a solid attempt. I go downstairs and take a quick bite of a chocolate bar. He's late. I turn off all of the lights upstairs and lock the backdoor. Just as I am finished the doorbell rings. I take my time to get my phone and to open the door. Once I door there is a very very handsome looking Alex wearing a suit that makes him look hot as fuck. And to make it better he has a little bunch of flowers in his hands.
"Woah, you look beautiful!" Alex says barely above a whisper while looking at me.
"You look handsome, very handsome" I say smiling. He notices me staring at the flowers and holds them up smiling cheesily.
"For being late and acting like a douche earlier" He smiles at me holding them up. I eye him before taking them in my hands and smelling them. I look up at his face, which looks terrified by my answer. I crack a smile at him and lean in for a kiss.
"They're beautiful babe" I whisper on his lips. I quickly leave the flowers on the table beside the door and lock it. Alex opens my door for me as I hop into the car.
"Where are we going?" I ask as he drives down the motorway. Alex chuckles before responding.
"Fine, ever heard of 'The Tree Lounge'?" Alex asks.
I gasp. The Tree Lounge is the most expensive restaurant in this whole county. I always drive past it and awe at the rich couples going in with their fur coats being shaken off them by the waiters.
"No fucking way" I whisper. Alex' grin widens.
"Yes way" He answers.
"Oh my God, this is the best day of my life" I squeak.
I settle back in my seat for the remainer of the journey, silently thanking God for helping me choose a dress that is up to he restaurants standards.
Alex opens my door and takes my hand. The minute we enter I hold my breathe because oh my fucking God. I squeeze Alex' hand tighter when he goes to the counter.
"Alex how are you? Right this way" The man says walking into the main room.
"May I take your coat Maddam?" He asks.
"Oh yes please" I saw handing him it. Alex pulls out my chair and sits in his own seat.
I smile at him for a while until it gets uncomfortable for him.
"What?"
"This is absolutely amazing, thank you" I say honestly.
"You are welcome babe, only the best" I blush.
The waiter comes and takes our orders. Within five minutes the food is served.
"Sky I have something to ask you" Alex says looking concerned.
"I'm not marrying you, I'm too young" I say immediately.
"No no it's not that, you never ever told me that you dated Harry"
My breath hitches.
"Why was it important?" I ask.
"Harry is one of my closest mates"
"How was I supposed to know that? I was shocked when you knew Max let alone know Harry" I explain.
"Sky I don't know anymore" He says shacking his head.
I panic.
"Alex please, I'm not with Harry anymore am I? I'm with you, here. Harry isn't going to be involved in this relationship." I explain.
"Sky I could lose friendships over this, I like you I reall- Jesus I really do, but being involved with Harry is different. I am so close to the boys, I was there at the party last time, I knew he had a Skylar but I didn't think you were that Skylar" Alex says putting his hands on his face.
I take a minute to take in everything he is saying. I mean, I like Alex, like really like and I do not want this to end.
"If you want to end us over a friendship that's fine, but can you do it now so I don't have false hope for us?" I ask with tears in my eyes. Alex lifts his face off of his hands and looks at me in the eyes.
"I-" Alex stutters.
"Fuck it, I want to see where we end up going, I like you like really really like you. Fuck that I love you Sky. I think I love you" Alex says.
I gasp.
