Today's the day. The day where I humiliate myself in front of a very attractive guy. Well...it's no different on how I feel about life so...
Luckily it is the weekend which means me and Netflix are having a date and the main course is Doritos and Mountain Dew.
I layed in bed watching Doctor Who but I hear my phone ringing.
Why can't I just watch the 11th doctor in peace?
"Hello?" I ask.
"Alison where the freak are you? Everybody's at the ice rink." Beth screams at me.
"Already? Let me watch the Doctor Who for about 2 more hours."
"Ali, if you don't come here in the next half hour I will disembody you." I hear Ellie scream in the background.
"Fine I'll be there," I say groaning.
"Okay, thanks, Love yah." She hangs up and I get dressed in a chemical romance T-shirt, black skirt, ripped leggings, and red converse to add a pop of color.
If I'm going to do this, at least I'll look my best.

"Okay, I'm here. You guys are so lucky I'm not choking you for interrupting me and Matt Smith." I say glaring.
"We get it never come between you and fictional characters." Annabelle says.
"He is not fictional. He is well alive and breathing." I defend.
Annabelle rolls her eyes, "Anyway, so where is this "hot" guy you were talking about."
"He's the one skating wearing the gray beanie." Beth says pointing.
"That's Jack? Wow, he is good looking." Juliet says.
"I know right. So hot." Beth says.
"He's attractive but not my type." Annabelle says.
"So your type is a baseball player, class president, and a basketball player." Juliet teases.
"Shut up. Who cares if I like Jason." Annabelle says glaring at Juliet.
"You're like Jane. Hung up in a guy and won't look at someone else." Jenna says.
"Wait, where is Jane?" I ask.
"She said she had 'plans'." Ellie says air qouting it.
"Huh...weird." Juliet says.
"Don't you guys feel like she's like hiding something. I mean last time we were here she left early because she had 'plans'." Says Jenna.
"We'll worry about that later but now let's worry about Jack." Beth says.
"Okay, fine but it just...something's going on." Jenna says.
"Now, Ali. Go." Beth says.
"What? Now? No plan?" I ask slightly panicking.
"Yeah, just go say he's hot then skate away."
"Okay that is practically a suiside mission."
"Do you have a better idea?"
I don't answer because I didn't.
"Exactly. So just do it as I say and you won't have to see him again." Beth replies.
"Fine." I grumbled.
I skate around at first with my friends but Beth kept nagging me and I finally couldn't handle her continuous probing.
"Okay! I got it. I know what to do, what to say, and who to say it to. So please close your mouth." I snap.
"Then do it."
"Why should I do it now I mean I have all the time in the world." I reply.
"Please, Ali. Unless you're chickening out of a dare." Beth taunts.
"I'm not chickening out. I'm just taking my time."
"Whatever you say." She says doubtfully.
"Fine, I'll do it now but I leaving right after I say it."
I skate over slowly. My heart is pounding and my legs are weak. Why am I doing this? Stupid peer pressure. Why didn't I just ignore Beth?
"Hey, Jack." I say from behind.
He turns around searching for the person who said his name and his eyes fall on me. His eyes were beautiful. It looked like the color of a roasted coffee bean.
"Um, do I know you?" He says confused.
"No, but I was dared by those weidos over there who I don't know why i'm friends with," I point to my friends who were looking our way, "and I have to say you're hot. So you're hot."
I quickly skate away. He probably thinks I'm a freak who doesn't have a life. Jesus, why must I torture myself.
I hurry off the rink and untie my skates, shove them in my bag, and slip on my converse in a time that should be a new record.
I walk outside and throw my bag into my Chevy.
"Ali! Ali! Wait!" I hear my friends yell.
I turn around and see them and Jack.
Fuck. He's there.
I get into my Chevy and start my engine.
"I hooked you up with him now it's all up to you to get the date." I yell to Beth and reverse out of the parking lot.
I am so embarrassed. At least I won't ever see him ever again.
But I kind of wanted to see him again.
