Ali's POV

Colby, Eliza, Alec, and I all enter the movie after we had come out if our shock of Jane and Brandon.

Seriously? When? How? Why?

We get into our seats. Colby and I then Eliza right next to me and Alec next to her.

I don't know what the movie is because Colby wanted to "surprise" me. The room starts to dim and all conversation starts to quiet down.

The first scene cuts in and immediately I know what we were watching. The Notebook. Good grief.

One of Colby's favorite movies is The Notebook. I know I have strange friends. Well I like the movie too, but I don't obsess about it.

About near the ending I glance over at Eliza and Alec and they're leaning in for a kiss. Awww.

I take out my phone so I could capture the moment.

They are so close, just a bit closer. Then BAM!

"ALEC SAMUEL HADDIX! WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU DOING!" screams the lady behind us. Eliza and Alec jump away from each other surprised.

I look and see that the woman was Mrs. Haddix, Alec's mom. But she's wearing sunglasses and and a hat. Obviously a disguise.

"Mom? What are you doing here?" Alec says blushing a tomato red and Eliza was also blushing a deep red.

"Don't sass me young man. You said you were going to Kyle's house. Well look here. I see you about to kiss...this...this...girl." Mrs. Haddix exclaims.

"She's not just 'this girl' she's my girl." Alec says back to his mom.

"I'll see you at home and we will discuss this then." Mrs. Haddix walks away looking back at us every few seconds.

"I'm sorry, Eliza. Jeez, my mom can be annoying." Alec says taking Eliza's hand.

"Don't worry, Alec. I was going to have to meet the parents soon or later." She says.

"You'll like my dad better." Alec says smiling.

We all leave the theater and I go our seperate ways. I told Colby I didn't want to go to the diner tonight. He looked worried but he left it at that.

I had some unfinished business with Jane. I walk to her house which I really needed to cool myself down after being in a theater.

I finally see her house getting closer. She was obviously their, I can see all the light on. I go up to the porch and ring the doorbell.

No answer. I ring again.

Still no answer. This time I knock. No answer. I pound the door. "Jane Catherine Lewis, open this door right now or I'll tear your locker open and bang it on your head."

The door opened with a scared looking Jane. I walk in without asking and Brandon's seated at the couch in her living room.

"Hi." He says awkwardly.

I glare at him then face Jane who is biting her nails nervously.

"How long?" I ask.

Jane walks over and sits next to Brandon. He wraps his arm around her protectively.

"5 months." She says looking at the carpet fiddling with her fingers.

"That long?" I say honestly surprised.

They both nod their head.

"You know what happened between you two. You both know it might happen again." I say warningly.
