I spent the night trying to wrap my mind around what Ely had just told me; It ends in Paris, bodies lying around Charias.

I walked out of the bathroom in the morning and picked my phone to text Lukas.

S:We need to talk.

L.Tenar:Sure. Meet me at Coldstone Creamery. 10:00. Bring the rest

I dressed up and called Ander. "What's up."

"Hold on. Let me Patch in Boreas."

Boreas picked up "This better be good, you're interrupting my Odìn sleep."

"Lukas wants to meet up at Coldstone."

"Good. I'm done with safe houses." Ander said.

"We should get Memphis." Boreas said "She might be our big gun."

"Wait. I thought you were our big gun." Ander said

"She knocked out a whole room of henchmen with her mind." Boreas said "I'll pass."

"Okay guys. I'll tell her, you guys get ready."

I went down to Memphis' room.

I knocked on the door.

"Its open."

I entered the room and looked around. It was empty, apart from the wardrobe,  Memphis had made no efforts to make the room hers. Fallout boy's My songs know what you did the dark was playing from the beatpill on her table.

Memphis was sitting on the bed. " What's up?"

"I wanted to tell you were meeting Lukas later today to discuss our shared problem." I said, trying to be diplomatic.

"Father dear?" She said "What has he done now?"

"Nothing we know of." I said "But Ely has been having these dreams."

"She told me. And I heard you both yesterday."

"Does anyone sleep in this house." I said, smiling.

Memphis laughed (I know, she laughed. For the history books.)

"Yeah. I was asleep. I kind of heard your thoughts, then I woke up."

"Oh." I said "So have you figured out what you can do?"

"A bit. I'm sure I can move stuff with my mind. I can read thoughts, more or less. I'll get the hang of it." She said "So what are we going to do about the other people who father gave abilities."

"I don't know yet." I said "We will figure it all out. Boreas said you're our big gun. "

"I like him. He's cute."

"Leto Zone love. Stay clear." I said.

"I can take her, big gun and all."Memphis said "Besides, I think Carlsbad is cute too."

"Good luck. You are about to enlist in the Maddox army."

"Or I could get him to bend a little." She said, her smile widening. (I prefer angry Memphis. )

"Oh well. We're out in thirty minutes." I said. Walking to the door.

The door swung open. I turned to Memphis. "I had to." She said "You are supposed to be one super teleportation dude. Why don't you just use your abilities to get everywhere."

"Drains me. I'm in no mood to spontaneously combust."

I walked out of her room and the door shut itself.
