Reckoning I

SAVIO.

I had made the decision days ago

This was my crusade.

No one else is going to die.

I had packed my bags and I was going to teleport to Paris; when I got there I would come up with the rest of my plan. I know what you're thinking; rash, idiotic and whatnot, but I had just seen some images that show that I lose my two best friends and Plette, I don't plan in letting anyone die in the future and besides I had plans to rectify that situation anyway.

I was about to leave when my door opened. Memphis stood in front of me "You idiot. Telepathy, remember."She walked in

"I won't let you all do this." I said "This is my fight now."

"Ander and Boreas are on their way, Lukas is here with Henry, Mrs Baker is even coming."

"I can't let anyone die for my cause." I walked to the chair and sat in it.

"You seem to forget some facts; Atila is my father. Ander was saved from a destroyed city to help you. Boreas has given you his all, no cost. Lukas, Henry and Mrs Baker have helped you all the way," she said "Why stop now?"

"You don't understand."

"I don't. But I know what you think justifies your lone wolf mode." She said "You have not failed your friends yet. Be strong."

I guess she was right. I had been helped by all these people who knew the risks of joining me on this journey. I was blinded by the possibility of all the loss. "Well, let's wait for everyone to arrive."

"Yeah. I was going to restrain you even if you disagreed."

"You wouldn't dare. " I said

"I'm crazy." She said, smiling and leaving the room.

It took the guys about twenty minutes to arrive at Baker Manor. Boreas looked different, I could not tell why though. Ander was his usual upbeat self, blabbing to Lukas about the upgrades Mayfair R & D had made to his cube. "It now has heat detection and infrared. And those are just the basics."

"Okay guys." Mrs Baker said "We are out in five minutes. I want you to know I'm proud of you all."

Ely entered the study and pulled Ander out with her. I stood up and started towards the Black SUV. "It all ends in Paris."

I slept off once we got on the plane. And for once I saw someone I wanted to see in my dream.

She looked like she was made from pure energy, the stuff of creation. I only recognised her because I had seen her for years.

"Plette, what are you doing here." I said as the aura faded and she looked normal again.

"You. You didn't send any fire messages to tell me you were okay. I was worried to death." She said, her green eyes focused intensely on me.

"I'm sorry. I was busy." I said "Besides I couldn't just send the messages from here."

"Where is here, anyway?"

"The future."

"Oh." She said "I have something I need to tell you, Plette said that you can seal the abilities back into people."

"Plette?"

"Not me, the original Plette. Your great great grand mother.

"Okay. Tell me how?"

"Listen closely, we don't have much time..."

Paris, France

We have arrived.

I'm extremely nervous.

"Savio I want to show you something." Mrs Baker said to me when we came off the plane. She opened a black leather bag and brought out a metre long Matte Black rod. "I figured you'd need a new weapon."

I collected it and clicked the usual button, revealing the trident on one side. "Thanks." I said

"It also has a Shan blade she said, clicking another button I had not noticed." A Shan blade came out of the other side.

"Cool." I said "I want to thank you for everything you have done for me."

"It was nothing. You started our bloodline. I wouldn't exist if it want for you." She said with a smile.

I walked to the rest of the guys and Andér spoke up. "Where to now?"

"Only one place to go." I said

"We storm Onyx Incorporated."
