Although he knew he had to sleep, he didn't. He stayed up all night, thinking what he could've possibly done to make her take that decision. And he knew that what killed him the most was that he didn't know... He didn't know what he did or what to do...

The door opened slowly, revealing Elice. She sad smiled at the view of the boy who just lay on the bed, looking at the ceiling. "How did you sleep?" She asked softly as she sat next to him. "I didn't" he said. "Why baby..." She said caressing his cheek. "How can I... I've never been this far away from her in my whole life... Never..." He said. "I know baby, but you have to stay strong... And you need sleep for that..." "I can't sleep till I know what I did..." He said getting her confused. "Till I know why she broke up with me... What I did wrong..." He added. "I think that you don't need to know that, you just want to hug her" she said, knowing that she was right. The boy quickly shook his head, afraid to tell her the truth. "No, I don't. I don't want to do that ever again" he said. "You do... Stop lying..." She chuckled and he just sighed, not saying anything else. "I can't face her... I can't act like everything is fine..." He said. "Of course you can't. Jaden, it's okay to be heart. You actually have to show that you're hurt. Show her that it hurt you, tell her why it hurt you... And ask her why... That's what will make you feel better... Tell her everything you said to me... All those beautiful words..." She said and he chuckled. "The yelling too?" He asked making her laugh and shake her head. "No don't do that... She'll probably punch you" she laughed. "Yeah she will..." He said shaking his head.

They both heard knocking coming from the door. They turned around as the door opened. Sophie walked in the room and sad smiled at Jaden, sitting next to him. Elice walked out and left the two teens alone. "I heard what happened... I'm sorry..." She said looking down. He just shook his head... The girl sighed and got under the covers with him, getting him confused. "Don't look at me like that, I'm not gonna fuck you" she chuckled. "I know that you need a cuddle buddy" she said cuddling herself up to him. "I don't need a cuddle buddy, I need her" he said and the girl looked down. "But thanks" he added pulling her close. She hadn't done anything wrong, she wasn't the one who would pay for her sister's doings. "You know... That night when you had that stupid fight and she slept in my room..." She chuckled and he nodded. "She was talking about you..." She said and he looked at the ceiling. "She would say how much she loves you..." She said and he chuckled. "Soph, I know that you want to make me feel better, but you don't have to lie to me like this. I know that she doesn't-" "I'm not lying!" She said seriously. "I don't have a reason to..." She said and he looked down. "She loves you Jaden... Like- a lot... Literally... She even cried at some point... She was so hurt that you actually thought that she doesn't love you..." She said and the boy just thought about it. "I know that she loves you... And I know that you're hurt, but she loves you Jaden" she said and he shrugged. "I love her too..." He said. "I know" she smiled. "But I don't think I'll be able to face her when I go back home... I'm scared..." He said tearing up again. "Why are you scared?" She asked. "It's... It's hard to explain..." He said trying to find the right words. "It's like... My whole life- my whole life depends on my relationship with Bell... When I say relationship I don't mean sex and shit- y'know... I mean- our friendship and everything between us..." He started and the girl nodded. "So- my whole life depends on that little thread that connects me and Bell... But... It's different for her... It's like- like she's a tree and I'm a leaf..." He started and the girl narrowed her eyebrows at his weird simile. "When the leaf leaves the tree... When that little thread breaks- the leaf dies... But the tree stays alive and grows other leafs... It replaces the old leafs..." He said and the girl sad smiled. "That was cute... But it's not true" she said and he looked up at her. "She's not the tree, Jaden... You're very very wrong..." She said. "She is not as independent as you think, Jaden... She loves you a lot... The connection you two have made... It's just- she can't live without it... And I'm sure that she's really worried right now... Have you called her?" She asked and he chuckled shaking his head. "My phone has died since last night in the flight..." He said. "God damn it Jaden, she must be dying from her worry" Sophie said pulling her phone out. "No! Please don't call her! If she finds out I'm here she'll come take me home..." He pleased. "Don't you want to go home?" "I want... I will... Just not now..." He said and she nodded putting her phone back in her pocket. "Thanks" he said looking down.
