"I didn't leave you Jae, you know that I would never do that... I just needed time to think" I said and he nodded.
"I- I'm s- so sorry Bell I- I didn't mean to m- make you feel like th- that" he said crying. I shook my head and kissed the top of his head.
"No Jaden you didn't, I just overreacted. You know me, I always think big about everything" I laughed and he nodded. He pulled away from the hug. He stood on his elbow and cupped my cheek with his hand. He softly smiled. I hated seeing him crying like this.
"I know..." He said. He kept looking at me while rubbing his thumb on my cheek. "I can't lose you Bell... Not you too" he said. I could see the tears in his eyes forming again. I pulled him close to me and he started crying. "I miss them Bell"
"I know Jae, I know" I said and he kept crying. "You won't lose me, okay?" I said and he nodded.
"I just- I don't want to be alive without you Bell... You're- you're my everything" he said wrapping his arms around my little body. "It's my fault" he cried.
"What? What's your fault Jaden? The fact that I felt like that? Cause that's not. I was just confused and scared about our friendship" I said and he shook his head.
"I- I didn't mean that" he said. I placed my hand on the back of his head and kept stroking his hair. "I killed them... They were in front of me! I-"
"Jaden it's not your fault, we've talked about this-"
"I- I was there! I could've saved them!"
"No Jaden, you couldn't save them. So please stop blaming yourself" I said and he kept crying even harder.
"Why didn't I die with them?! Why?! Why do I have to be here crying?! Why do I have to share my pain with you?! I make you hurt!" He cried and I shook my head.
"You've done nothing Jaden... You're amazing"
"I want to die Bell. I want to die!" He cried and started breathing uncontrollably. Shit no not again. "I want this to be over! I should have died then!" He said. His breathing became unstable.
"Jaden please calm down-"
"I can't do this anymore" he cried.
"Jaden babe please calm down" I said pulling him on my chest. "Listen to my heartbeat" I whispered and he kept crying. "JOSH! BRING SOME WATER! NOW!" I literally screamed.
"Okay!" He yelled back.
"Jaden please calm down, I don't want you to be like this, you're a strong person, you can do this-"
"I'm not strong enough then" he cried and I shook my head. Josh and Bryce walked through the door with a bottle of water and a wet towel. Bryce handed me the towel and I placed it on Jaden's forehead, who was still crying.
"Jaden please calm down" I whispered. He was still crying and his eyes were shut closed.
"I've never seen him like this" Bryce mumbled and I nodded.
"I know... This usually happens when were alone..." I said taking the bottle from Josh. "Jaden please drink some water" I whispered burying it in his lips. He took a short sip but kept crying. "Jaden please" I whispered hugging him.
"Uhm- we uhh we'll leave you two alone" Josh said.
"Yeah we'll be outside of you need us" Bryce said and I nodded. They walked out and Jaden started crying harder.
"I wanted them to be here, to be here for me and hug me tight. Y- y'know what they'd do now?" He said and I shook my head telling him to continue. "Th- they would get mad at me and-" he smiled in his tears. "They would force me to come and apologize to you" he said and kept crying. "They always took care of me and helped me when I needed them! And I didn't when they needed me!" He yelled at himself. I shook my head and hugged him again.
"Jaden please-"
"Bell I'm so sorry! I love you! Please don't leave me!" He cried and I shook my head.
"I'm not leaving you Jaden" I said with tears in my eyes.
"I don't want to lose you Bell..." He whispered still breathing uncontrollably. "I'm nothing without you" he cried and I shook my head.
"No Jaden, you're a lot more than nothing" I said and he kept crying. I started panicking. He has never cried like this or like- been like this. He couldn't even breathe. Shit shit shit what am I doing now?
"Josh! Bryce!" I cried and they run in. "I- he- he won't calm down!" I cried and they looked at Jaden who was taking short and heavy breaths. "I've tried everything! I- I can't calm him down!"
"Bell, kiss him" Josh said and I looked at him.
"What?!"
"Do you have a better idea?! Just do it!" Bryce yelled and I looked at Jaden. I placed my hand on his cheek. God, I hate seeing him like this. I leaned in and softly kissed his lips. He didn't kiss back, he just stood there. I pulled away to look at him. He let out a big breath, which I didn't know he was holding. He was still looking at my lips. He slowly leaned in and connected our lips again. He was finally relaxed. Thank God that Josh thought of this. I slowly pulled away and looked at him. He looked down and hugged me. He lay down pulling me on top of him. I started playing with his hair, knowing that thus relaxes him. I looked at the guys and they nodded to me, walking out of the room.
