1976 (dazed and confused)

Air Raid!

We get to the middle school and start to load up the girls. Darla and Simone's group is already here so they have a lot already.

"Wake up bitch! Open! Hey hey open!" Darla says as she puts pacifiers in the girls mouths. Darla can be a little well from that whole speech she can be a bitch, but she can be nice but really she's a bitch.

"Okay open wide." Jodi says a little nicer. I look at the girls we have so far and I think it's enough. "What do you think?" I ask. "We got enough alright let's go!" Shavonne says.

As I look around I notice one girl that catches my eyes. "Hey Jodi what about her?" I ask. Jodi looks at her and gives me a look like oh yeah she's the one.

"Hey you come here!" As we get to her we ask her who she is. "Nobody, I mean I wasn't gonna try" she says. "Are you freshman?" Jodi asks. "Yeah" she responds. " Well are you in, or you out?" I ask. "In" she says. I like this one.

We get to the school and get the girls out of the car and into the parking lot. We spread them out as Darla looks at them kinda taking them all in as she was making her way up to the front.

"Alright you little freshman bitches! AIR RAID!" She shouts.

I immediately cringe she's so loud! She's like a megaphone that won't turn off.

"That was pathetic! Air raid!" she says as the girls go down.

"That was horrible you little sluts! You lazy little bitches get up! Up! Up! Air Raid!"

Gosh this is awful why am I here? I literally don't wanna be here but I have no choice. Wait a minute! Pink said I can go sit with him and Don and Slater.

I look around for him and then I spot those beautiful brown locks. I smile but that's interrupted as all the girls are getting eggs, ketchup and all of that stuff. Yeah no I'm good!

I walk over to Pink's car he spots me and smiles.

"Well well well! Look who decided to come join us!" That beautiful voice says.

"Oh shut up Pinky!" I laugh.

"Got to much for you huh?" Don asks.

"Yeah I mean I thought it would be fun but it's just so degrading." I say.

"Yeah" they all say. "Hey why don't you sit down? Don asks.

"There's no where to sit." I say

"You could sit on my lap." Pink offers

When I tell you butterflies erupted in my stomach I mean it!

"Are you sure? I can stand if it's to much." I say while blushing.

"Nonsense come here" he smiles.

I smile and walk over to him. "Wait what about Simone?" I ask. I don't want to cause problems.

I don't care what she sees! Now come here!" He says while pulling me on his lap. The butterflies are real man!

"If you say so" I say. He smiles and goes back to paying attention to the hazing. I take this opportunity to take his sunglasses.

"Did you just take my sunglasses?" He asks. "Why yes I did." I respond as I put them on.

He looks at me and shakes his head and smiles. God I love this kid!

I look back to the hazing and nothing Shavonne walking up to us with a girl. Oh god!

"Propose to Mr.Dawson!" She says as she snaps for the girl to get on her knees. Oh god!

"Will you marry me?" She asks. This poor girl!

"Don't know what's in it for me?" Don asks. Oh Jesus this kid!

"Anything you want." She says. "Anything?" He asks. "Anything" she responds.

Shavonne takes her eyes off them and looks at me and Pinks situation. Her eyes widen and her jaw drops as she sees us.

"Go like this" he says as he opens his mouth. Oh geez where is this going?

She follows his act and opens her mouth. "Do you spit or sallow?" he asks. I swear to god!

"Whatever you like" she says obviously not understanding the question.

"Anything I'd like? I'd definitely marry you!" He exclaimed!

"Your an asshole" Shavonne says as she leaves and takes the girl with her. "Yes I am" Don says.

"Your terrible man" Slater says. "I agree with him" I say.

"Oh come on Shelby, but seriously do you spit or swallow? Don asks.

"Oh shut up Don!" I say.

I can tell Darla is getting bored so she's deciding to leave and take the girls to the car wash.

"Well I guess that's my cue to leave." I say as I get up.

"Wait shelbs!" I hear pink say from behind me. I turn around.

"Yeah?" I ask. "Why don't you come with me and Slater to your house, I mean didn't think you would want to go with them anyway and I mean we are going to your house-. God he's so cute when he's rambling.

I stop him and say "Pink I would love to come with you to my house." I say. He looks at me and smiles. God I love that smile!

"Ok well before we go we're going to hang out in the parking lot with Don, Benny, and Melvin. Is that ok? He asks.

"Yeah for sure, just let me go tell Jodi and Shavonne that I won't be riding with them." I say

He nods and turns around to go

I walk up to Jodi and Shavonne and tell them "Hey I won't be going to the car wash with you I'm gonna go with Pink and Slater to my house. So I'll see you girls at the party?" I ask

"Yeah totally!" Jodi says. I smile and tell them bye.

"Wait we better here everything that happened with pink over there and if anything happens before we see you again!" Shavonne says.

"You got it, I'll see you later" they tell me bye and walk away.

"You ready? Pink asks. "Yep" I respond as we start walking to Bennys truck.

He stops walking and I look at him confused.

"Before we go to your brothers house I have to tell you something important." He whispers in my ear.

"Ok" I say kind of flustered. He smiles and takes my hand as we start walking.

What could he be talking about? Is it what Jodi and Shavonne are talking about? Is it the news Kevin and Michelle were talking about?

Oh shit! What's gonna happen tonight?
