Shelby's P.O.V

"You suck at this Floyd!" I say to Pink as I just won again at fuse ball.

"Oh hush" he says annoyed but starts to laugh as I do too

"Man I really do suck!" He says while laughing

"Yes you really do" I say smiling as he smiles back

"How did I get so lucky to be with a girl like you" he says while staring into my eyes

"I wonder the same thing" I say smiling at him again as he smiles back

"Alright I'm happy you two are together believe me everyone is. But I don't want to see all that puppy love shit thing" Melvin says as we laugh

"Hey man I wouldn't call it puppy love, now I love her more than anything, but trust me man when you get a girl you will for sure do this" Pink says as I smile

Does he really love me that much?

"Yeah yeah whatever, hey Shelbs I think your girls are outside" Melvin says

"Wait really?" I ask as he nods

"You wanna head out there with me?" I ask Pink as he nods

He grabs my hand and I can't help but smile again

We get out there and I spot just the people I was looking for

"Hey" I say

"Hey girl" Shavonne says

"So how is y'all night going?" I ask as Pink puts his arm around my waist

"It was going pretty good until we ran into a certain someone" Shavonne says as Jodi nudges her

Wait was she not supposed to say that?

Shavonne looks at her with a confused look on her face until Jodi gives her a look and Shavonne eyes wide in realization.

Oh no! I know exactly who it is

"What did he do?" I ask

Pink looks at them looking like he wants to know too

"Ok so we were driving around and we found him and Benny and Don hazing some kid. And well he was asking where you were and asking if you were with him." As she points to Pink and I nod

"And then you know he said how like "what does she even see in Floyd?" As my eyes widen and my jaw drops

"Wait he said that?" I say upset

"Yeah" Jodi says

"What does she see in me? What does she see in me? I mean come on really he should know, like he should know why I'm better for her. He has no right to be upset!" Pink says upset

I hold his hand to calm him down

"But listen I told him to not ruin you guys night and let's just say I don't think he's gonna listen so I'd watch out tonight" Jodi says as we both nod

"But you know what enough about that what's this I hear about a beer bust?" Jodi asks Wooderson who came out here not to long ago

"Patience darling patience" he says

Mitch walks over to talk to Sabrina as Jodi, Pink, and I stay in our little circle

"Honestly guys, he might say he's gonna do something but he probably won't, he's probably just saying this to scare us" I say to Pink
