FINALLY! Last day of junior year. Only one more year in this place and then I can finally get out! Don't get me wrong I love Texas but I want to get out and explore the world and I can't do that if I'm stuck in Texas. I know I'm deep I get it!

I'm sitting in the back seat of my brother Kevin Pickford's car while him and his girlfriend Michelle are sitting in the front. Sweet Emotion by Aerosmith is playing on the radio and we're being 3 idiotic teenagers by smoking weed. Now I know what your thinking, three teens smoking weed on school grounds at 1:05 P.M. But we're teens in 1976 this is what we do.

Going back to what I said about my brother, yeah I'm Kevin Pickford's twin sister Shelby. So that makes me a popular girl, but I feel like I'm not popular but I am it's weird. The thing about us kids is that everyone hangs out with everyone. You have your stoners, nerds, football players, and cheerleaders. I'm a cheerleader and my brother is a stoner. I'm best friends with everyone, but the one I'm closest too the most is Randall Pink Floyd.

Now let's talk about Pink for a moment, Pink is my best friend in the entire world. My pretty blue eyed best friend... NO SHELBY you can't think about your best friend like that. But I want to think about him like that. Long story short I'm in love with Randall Pink Floyd, have been ever since we met in the sixth grade. Our science teacher paired us both up for a project and we immediately clicked and been best friends ever since. But sadly we kinda fell apart because he started playing on the football team and he hung out with other people but we still remained great friends. My feelings got stronger for him in the beginning of junior year, he definitely grew up since the sixth grade that's for sure. But they got stronger because he started dating Simone Kerr at the beginning of junior year. That made me upset I'm not gonna lie but he looks happy and as his best friend I want him to be happy, but I want him to be happy with me, is that selfish? Sorry got a little to emotional there, but I will say this though Pink has been acting weird lately around me and he has been for a while now, not like I'm stalking him or anything but it's hard not to notice. Does he like me? No he can't he's with Simone, but lately he looks fed up with her. Oh man this is going to be a long day.
