Shelby's P.O.V

We get back to the Emporium as Kevin tells everyone what just happened.

Pink and I are near the group but are having our own conversation.

"I kinda want to get out of here and take a drive. What do you think?" He asks with hope in his voice.

"You only want to do that so we could go make out. Which I'm not complaining, I've always wanted to know what it's like to make out with Randall Pink Floyd." I say as I smirk

"So that's a yes then?" He asks with a smile

"No it's not a yes, buttt we can definitely make out in the woods at the moon tower" I whisper

"YES!" He yells

I roll my eyes and tell him to be quiet

"Besides we have all summer remember" I say to him

"Yeah I guess your right, I guess we could just make out during the summer." He says disappointed. I know he's joking

"I said we could at the moon tower isn't that enough!" I say laughing "Well if your gonna act this way, then your lips aren't touching mine tonight" I say joking

"Ok ok ok, I'm done we'll make out at the moon tower" he says as I smile at him

"But I can't wait for the moon tower so I'm just gonna steal a kiss now" he says but before I can reply his lips are on mine

We pull away and I look disappointed. I didn't want to pull away just yet

"Aww don't worry you'll get more at the moon tower" he says with a smirk and I can't help but laugh

But my laughing ends quickly when I feel a pair of eyes burning into the back of my head.

I don't need to know who it is, I already know but I turn around anyway.

And there O'Bannion was, glaring at me and Pink.

I sigh as I turn around to face Pink

"What's wrong?" He asks concerned

"He's looking, but not just looking glaring" I say to him as he looks over my shoulder

"He needs to get over it. He's gotta understand why you left him, and why we're together. I won't be afraid to tell him." He says as he starts to walk over to him.

But I didn't let him get that far

"No don't" I say as I put my hand on his chest to stop him

"If you go over there your gonna cause a scene and then the night will be ruined. Remember we're supposed to have fun tonight" I say to reassure him

"Yeah your right. Well the good thing is Simone doesn't look pissed. I don't think she even knows we're here." He says as I nod

"Hey why don't you go over to the convenient store and get me a six pack of this" Melvin says to Mitch as he hands him money

Mitch nods and leaves

"Melvin do you really think they're gonna sell that to him?" I ask

"Ah it's the 70s Shelbs no one cares" Melvin says smiling

Mitch comes back a while later with beer in his hands.

"They actually sold it to you?" I ask in shock as he smirks and nods

Melvin hands us all a beer

"Hey Shelby can I talk to you for a minute?" Mitch asks

"Sure" I say to him while Pink talks to Melvin

"Me and friends we're getting payback on O'Bannion" he says as my eyes go wide

"Holy shit!" I say

"Now now I know your probably gonna say "don't do anything he's just gonna get angry" he says

"No this I can actually get behind" I say as he smiles with excitement on his face

"So what are you guys gonna do?" I ask

"That's for me to know, and you to find out" he says as I roll my eyes playfully

"Just come outside when I wave at you" he says as I nod. He heads over to Julie to talk to her, I guess she's in on it.

"What did he want to talk about?" Pink asks as I walk back over to him

"I think we're gonna find out" I say as O'Bannion heads outside to go get his paddle

Mitch waves at us to come outside

"Come on your gonna wanna see this" I say as I grab Pinks hand

We walk outside and Pinks hands are put around my waist. The butterflies are strong.

"Holy shit!" I say with a big smile on my face as everyone looks in shock

He's yelling and getting angry and comes over to us and pushes Mitch but walks away

That was until he looked at me, my smile still on my face

"What are you smiling at?" He asks still angry

"It's kind of obvious" I say not afraid anymore

He just gives a glare, balling up his fists

"You better keep those down" I say

He looks at me kind of shocked that I'm standing up for myself. He's never seen it before and now that I think of it no one has!

He gives me one last look and then goes to his car.

"Looks like O'Bannion finally got his paint job" Pink says as O'Bannion drives away almost running over Pinks foot in the process

"Ok that was awesome" I say

"Not as awesome as you standing up to him" Pink says

"That was badass!" He says as he kisses me

"Dang Shelby, finally stood up to him" Wooderson says

"I guess I did" I say

"So is this party still gonna happen?" I ask

"Sure is darling just wait it will happen soon" Wooderson says as I smile

"Do you think he's gonna be there?" Mitch asks kinda worried

"No I think your good, he was pretty embarrassed so I don't think he's gonna show" I reassure

Little did I know later on... I was wrong

"Alright let's head on over there!" Wooderson says

"You riding with me?" Pink asks

"Who else would I ride with" I say as he rolls his eyes
