The road to love (Legoriel Fanfic)

A nightmare come true

        In the morning,Legolas had tried to forget his nightmare,and he succeeded to keep it in the back of his mind.He thought he needed some fresh air away from the palace so he had a hurried breakfast and went to tell Thranduil where he was going.
On the way out he met Tauriel,
'Where are you going ernil nin?'
'To the western part of the forest,I need some time alone.It's been long since I went into the deep forest'
'Ok,will you be wanting any company?'
'No,I'll be back in a few days.'

Tauriel was worried,the forest had been growing darker. But she did not want to disturb Legolas with her thoughts so she merely smiled,"Take care then."
"I will,dont I always?",Legolas flashes a smile at her and turns away.

Tauriel is brought out of the trance his smile had laid by a shout behind her to get to training immediately.

She had grown into a tall strong elleth. Her hair had developed a beautiful auburn shade which would glimmer when light fell on it.She was now a guard of Mirkwood but she kept training to become the best,although she was better than many already.

        Thranduil watched out upon the guards training,he liked to do that when he had nothing to do.Today he focused on the only female on the plain,Tauriel.He smiled as he saw her defeat most of the guards and she fought hard,soon,all the guards present had been defeated as their daggers went flying out of their hands.The king had seen enough to help him decide,so he summoned Tauriel to his  chambers and when she came,he told her that she had been made Captain of the guard.

Flustered,all Tauriel could manage was,"H-Hanon le Aran nin!" But she couldn't have gone on even if she wanted to,for they felt tremors under their feet.Tauriel rushed to the window ."Tarantula from the South,from Dol Goldur!"That was strange,never had their been an attack from that side,yet.But Thranduil didnot show his concern and his face remained calm."A chance to show your abilities",he said.Tauriel rushed out of the palace ready to fight.

        Legolas had not travelled far when news reached him of the attack.He hurried back to the palace and saw a terrifying scene.Scared for his father,he ran into the throne room and saw Thranduil leaning against the pillar.
He supported the king and helped him sit down,"Ada,where isTauriel?",he asked urgently.
"I do not know" Thranduil gasped.He needed help. Legolas got the healers to his father and rushed into the forest.He knew what he must do,he went into the forest,following the tracks of the spiders,into a clearing and there she lay...
