Thranduil leaned against the pillar his robes covered in blood.Legolas ran to him and asked him what had happened.Thranduil told him that there had been an attack.Legolas asked where Tauriel was,the king doesnot know.Legolas rushes out of the palace and sees a trail of destruction,elven guards lay dead.Still no sign of Tauriel,as he hurries forward,he sees her dagger lying there on the ground.Following a trail of destruction,he was led to a clearing in the forest,there she lay,so cold...so lifeless...

Legolas woke up,sweating.He was trembling though it was a warm night.He was alarmed,did that nightmare mean something?He couldnot think right,he needed air.Legolas steps out on the balcony of his room and takes a deep breath,he feels his body relax and calms down.Looking around he sees her standing outside her room looking at the sky,following her gaze,Legolas notices the number of stars on the sky.His eyes flutter back to Tauriel,in starlight seemed enchanting,changed,more mature,as if the light came from within her...

She had noticed the prince looking at her,she liked Legolas,he was great to have around,always made her smile.And so she did,she smiled a warm smile and saw him return it.But then,Legolas went back inside,she raises an eyebrow and frowns a little. "Maybe he isn't feeling well",she thought and diverted her attention back to the stars."They're so beautiful"she sighs

Tauriel didn't notice Legolas slip into her room and go stand behind her so when he began to say something,she jumped,making him laugh.A hearty laugh definitely made him feel better.
Legolas asks Tauriel what is so special about the stars.She looks back at him in disbelief,"It is memory precious and pure",she smiles again

Legolas thought about that,they were lovely.His mother used to love them. Legolas returns her smile and silences down.That night after going back to bed he dreamed of his mother calling out to him to come watch the stars with her.Legolas turns over comfortably and sleeps soundly until morning
