In his own room,Thranduil had been wondering on the possibility of his son to like this lowly Silvan.
Nay,this cannot be. He decided finally.
He had to put a stop to this before it really began, because if Legolas really understood his feelings for Tauriel,it would be impossible to seperate them.

Thranduil had called Tauriel to have breakfast with them,so when Thranduil sat down to eat,he waited for the two to come.Legolas walked in slowly,he was supporting Tauriel as she could not walk that well on her own yet.Legolas sat down after he had put Tauriel in a seat opposite to him.
They began to eat, after finishing his food,Thranduil spoke to them
'Tauriel, you scared us.I felt that I had lost my captain'.He smiled and followed it by saying in a lower tone,'Legolas, too almost lost a great partner'.

On those words,Legolas and Tauriel's eyes met and the blue stared into the green for a second until Tauriel broke her stare and gently cleared her throat. 'Aran nin,I was outnumbered...I stood no chance'

'Yes,I know,i donot ask for clarification,just..be careful next time'

'I will',Tauriel replied shyly.
A knock broke the tension and an ellon not much younger than Legolas entered the room.

"Ah! Beinion!Come in!Legolas and Tauriel, meet Beinion,a new guard,I leave him as your responsibility to train him and make him worthy of the Mirkwood crest.",Thranduil said.
Tauriel looked at the ellon,he had long and straight brown hair and twinkling grey eyes.He was pretty much her same age.He was clad in grey to match his eyes and had a green cloak around his shoulder clasped around his throat by a brooch shaped like an eagle.

Beinion took a bow to the king and prince.

His name meant 'handsome' in the common tongue and he matched well to it.Tauriel liked what she saw,but Legolas only wondered on his name.
Handsome?Who named him?He better not make any trouble.
Legolas was brought back to reality by his father's voice."Is it clear?" 'Yes,father',Legolas said.

Tauriel tried to get up but hurt herself in the process and an excalmation of pain escaped her lips.
Crash! Legolas had risen from his chair quickly to assist her,but Beinion being nearer reached her quicker, quickly helped her straighten her posture and then helped her to her feet.
Tauriel had disapproved of this whole-heartedly but she could not say anything in the king's presence. So she just mumbled,'Hanon le'.

Beinion helped Tauriel walk out of the throne room, with Legolas behind them making faces. As soon as the door shut behind them,Tauriel said,'Thank you Beinion,I can manage' and broke free of his hold and leaned against the wall.
Beinion took his leave and walked away.

'He's nice',she said 'just a bit...'
'...ill mannered?',Legolas said and smiled.'Come on',he swung her arm around his shoulder and led her back to her room.

Reaching her room Tauriel said, "I didn't like him when he caught me.I didn't mean to fall."she felt that Legolas had disapproved of it.
"I know,"Legolas said and tucked her into bed."Now rest, and get well soon.I want you to be back in the battle field soon."
"So do I."She replied.

After leaving Tauriel's room,Legolas went to patrol,Beinion accompanied him.
Legolas tried to understand him,but he was so unpredictable, nonetheless, Legolas decided to not bring him too close to himself, not until he had proven himself absolutely worthy of Legolas' trust.
