"You have to go!"Arwen urged Tauriel.

"I don't want to. I never go to the feast. It's just not me."Tauriel replied.

"Listen to me!You have to! Please!"

"Noooo" she moaned, dramatically.

Arwen had told Tauriel that the engagement was off but not why it was off. Now she knew that the perfect setting for Legolas and Tauriel to unite was the feast of starlight that night. She had to get Tauriel to go there.

"You have a dress?"Arwen asked.

"It's not about dresses, but yes I do have some."

"Great!Then youre coming!"

"It's impossible to win from you."

Arwen nodded.

"Ok then"

Tauriel got up and opened her closet and took out a midnight blue dress embroidered with sequins.

"Wonderful!"Arwen exclaimed.

Tauriel nodded."It was a gift."

Later that evening Arwen was busy helping Tauriel get ready. At last, she stepped back to look upon her work.
Tauriel looked perfect.Just like a princess. Her scarlet hair had been braided and in turn tied into an elegant bun on top of her head. Her dress revealed her fair shoulders and arms and and silver silk shawl was draped around her shoulders. Her eyes shone in their emerald green colour highlighted among the blue of the dress and pale pink flowers were set upon her head in shape of a tiara.

"You look GORGEOUS."She said.

Tauriel looked at the mirror.
Yes,she did. And despite herself, she smiled

At the feast,Tauriel met Legolas and of course he congratulated her on looking the best lady of the night. She was escorted to the main dance floor by Elrond. Which she found surprising. Then Elrond called for Legolas to step forth, which he did.

After that,Elrond announced his decision to the entire hall and this was met by general smiles. But Tauriel stood rooted to her spot.
Maybe this was a dream?
But when Legolas' hand clasped her in such a reassuring manner she was sure it was definitely NOT.

By that time Legolas was on his knees.

"Tauriel will you marry me and be my princess?"

The tears in tauriel's eyes told the answer long before her mouth could.

"I will Legolas I will"she said as Legolas rose and kissed her, sweetly, passionately.
