Tauriel woke up to bright sunlight and an unfamiliar room. Then she remembered.
She took off her sheets and checked her wound,it was perfectly healed.She checked her face in the mirror and saw it was perfect, just as usual. In the mirror,she caught an ellon looking at her through the doorway.
"LEGOLAS!"She ran into his arms and hugged him tight,not wanting to let go,Then she saw Arwen over his shoulder and let him go hesitantly. "Arwen!What are you doing here?Where is your father?"
"I was hoping you would answer that."she replied.
"He hasn't returned?"
Arwen shook her head.
"I'm sorry"
"Dont be.How are you?"
"Well."she smiled.
"I'll say!"said Legolas. But Tauriel as per instinct sensed something was up.
"What is it?what's going on?"she asked.
"Tell her."Arwen said.
Legolas nodded. "Tauriel,the king..is arranging our marriage."
"WAIT WHAT?!"She totally misunderstood it.
"I mean,mine and Arwen's"
Tauriel's insides collapsed.
"Oh"she said simply looking at them."Congratulations."
"I'm Ok."she continued after a few moents' silence to answer Legolas' concerned expression."It's just that...Who does he think he is?Playing with my heart?"she said.
Surprised,at this, "Um..the king?", Legolas shrugged.
"Captain Tauriel"their little elleth host called out."they're calling for you outside." Surprised,Tauriel stepped out.Elrond and a procession of elves all dressed their best stood outside.But why were they calling for her?
