Elrond to the rescue!

Sorry guys I dont feel like writing at all nowadays but I'm updating anyways.So forgive if it's crappy.

Tauriel asked Lord Elrond what was happening after the regular elven greetings.

"I just wanted to check on you." he then nodded to Arwen and Legolas who had just just come.He helped Tauriel onto his own horse and rode towards the palace, where the engagement was going to take place in a few hours.Of course Tauriel didn't know that.
When they reached she saw all the decorations and quietly went into her room.

Now Elrond had sensed Tauriel's silence and of course he had discovered her love for the prince in the goblin dungeons.He confronted Thranduil.

"We cannot force the children into the decision of their lives."he said

Thranduil stared at him incredulously.

Elrond continued."you want my daughter for your son, so do I just not Arwen. Tauriel too, is like a daughter to me."

At that moment Legolas enterd the room seeing Elrond in mid-sentence he stopped proceeding.

Elrond went on. "so I ask for your son to take the hand of My Daughter Tauriel in marriage,not Arwen."

To Legolas that news was news of great victory.He jumped happily,bowed his gratitude to Elrond and ran to tell Arwen the news.He knew just the way to tell Tauriel the news.But he needed some help...

A/N:The chapter after this will be the last chapter. The book was named the "road" to love and the next chapter will quite literally be the end of the journey our marvelous characters have been on.
