Star rose to her feet, the knocking turned persistent. Banging on the door made Star stop in her tracks. A deep voice called through the door, "Let me in! You know who I am! If only you would have listened!"
The voice was somewhat recognizable but Star glanced at the three, staring. Her eyes glanced at the body of Amos. His pale hair clinging to his head, his bright blue eyes once filled with life now dull and lifeless. Star's mind whirred as she thought about the voice.
Blaze's voice filled the room, "He's...a friend. A member of mine."
A boy, dressed in a loose shirt and jeans, with brown hair and green eyes pushes through the mutilated door. His eyes wild. Cody's eyes dash across the room before settling on Blaze, "Alpha..." Cody pauses, looking at Jinxx. His hands twitch before fluttering to cover himself. "Alpha... he's responded."
Blaze raises an eyebrow, he motions for his brother to continue. Cody frowns and pulls a slip of paper from his pocket. He holds it out to Blaze. Blaze raises his eyebrow again, "Does it look like I want to get up?"
Cody rolls his eyes and inches closer to Blaze and Jinxx, offering the paper. Jinxx's lips twitch into a small grin, "What's the matter with you?"
Cody's eyes dart to Jinxx, momentarily distracted. Blaze wraps his arm around his girl, "Baby, leave him be..." Blaze grins, "he's already scared shitless."
Cody glares at the pair, tossing the paper at them. Blaze snatches it and reads it.
Looks like you couldn't save the boy. Could you save your friend if the need arose?

Blaze glances at Jinxx and crumpled the paper. Jinxx turns at the sound of crippling paper, "What did it say?"
Blaze looks into the eyes of his beloved mate, "Just some letter from Gazelle. Saying we couldn't save Amos, could we save our friend if the need arose?"
Jinxx's eyes widen and she glances at Star and Tor, both who are watching Cody. Jinxx's eyebrows knit in confusion as she watches. Cody inches away from Jinxx, the girl with good aim.
Blaze notices Cody inching away and smiles, "Stop inching away. She's your Luna. It's rude of you. "
Cody's face whitens, "You sonofab! You don't know what she is capable of!"
Blaze chuckles and looks at his mate, "She's gorgeous and capable of driving me crazy."
Cody mumbles under his breath, Jinxx's head pops up. "What was that, Cody?"
Cody's eyes widen and he curses himself, "It was nothing!"
Jinxx glares, "Mhmm, like I'm gonna believe that."
Blaze pulls her chin to face her and he pecks her lips. Jinxx's lips pull up into a grin. Jinxx's arms wrap around Blaze's neck, kissing.
A cough breaks them apart, Blaze smirks as he leans back. His eyes on Cody, "Yea?"
Cody rolls his eyes,"What are you gonna do about the rogue vamp Gazelle?"
Blaze's eyes harden and he clears his throat, "Kill him of course."
