Accius tightens his grip around the silver rod. Mac's form jerks. What used to be the body of a body was now a young red wolf. The chains rattle as the wolf thrashes. The wolf's front paws hit the ground as the shackles pop open. The wolf's lowers himself, launches raised. He was ready to attack. Then he did something unexpected, he leaped at Zel. Zel let out a scream, the wolf's claws raked down Zel's chest. Zel's eyes flared blood red as he yanked against the chains. The wolf's eyes darken and he growls. Mac's body shudders and he backs away. He covers his head with his paws, whining.

Zel's shackles pop. His hands fall. The wolf's eyes darken and he raises himself slowly, growling. Ace smirks, "That's right, Mac. Kill him."

Zel's eyes narrow, he tries to push himself up but falls back down. Mac growls and approaches Zel, his eyes purple. Zel cowers into the wall. That's when he recognizes the purple eyes.

An old friend.

His throat raw, "Dominic!"

The wolf's movements cease at the yell. Ace rolls his eyes and shoves the silver bar against Mac's flank. Mac whimpers and shoots forward to attack Zel. Zel shoves his arm out to protect himself and bites his lip to keep from screaming when the canines teeth sink in. Claws scratch at his stomach, legs, and arms. Zel's blood runs thickly out of his wounds. They don't heal but start to bleed more heavily.

Zel's face whitens as the blood drains from him then something changes. Zel's eyes droop closed and then he notices the unconscious boy laying next to him. Ace kneels next to Zel, a syringe in hand.

Something other than blood runs through Zel's veins. Zel's eyes slip close, his vision and all feeling flees his body.

He awakens later in a similar place but his body is way more secure. His legs are chained to the floor and his whole upper body has chains running across to attach to the other side on the wall. Zel's body tenses as thoughts race through his mind. His sudden thirst for blood is common. His longing for raw meat is new to him. He pulls against his restraints.

A voice.

A familiar voice calls out to Zel. It's the boy with green hair, Mac. His voice is rough and raw, "I'm sorry, dude. I really am-"

Zel's eyes lock onto the still form of the boy, his chest slowly rising and falling. Zel's eyes darken and he tanks against the restraints. Mac whimpers and turns to stare at Zel, the sight causes Zel to cease movement...
