A pink tongue darted out between two freshly red stained lips. Making its way over its lower to catch any blood drops.

A pair of red eyes locks with a pair of blue eyes with a thin red ring around the iris.

Gazelle.

"What do you want, Gazelle?" the vampire hisses at her friend, who only stares at her.

"Not your kill," he flicks his gaze to the young child, who minutes before had trusted her, "Jinxx, I have asked you many times to call me 'Zel' I didn't choose Gazelle but you are a friend and it's only right you call me a nickname. Not codename."

The sunlight reflects off of the ruby and onto the wall of the building next to me.

"We might be daft creatures but we know when we are looking at something that isn't our kind, vampire," the smooth masculine voice echoes from behind me.

I slowly turn towards the source and if my heart had been beating it would have stopped right then. The sight before me makes my blood freeze. Well the borrowed blood.

The shaggy black hair covering the male's eyes, but she knew there were blue eyes underneath the black hair.

Because that wasn't just any normal man, it was...
